Nice video. I own a Bianchi 928L. But that’s a 2007 model. Climbing bike. Still doing it’s job. But I’m not planning to spend a lot of money anymore. I still do fast group and club rides. And if the government give us the chance to race ,I will do it too. I’m 48.
And honestly I want to go for a more modern aero machine. And I’m considering going for one of the brands you mentioned. They all have the same style like the well known brands.
One thing I’m not sure yet.
If I’m going rim- to disc brakes. ( modern)

What do you think about Velobuild frames?

This is another video that you don’t show your face and use animation. I really hope you are well?!?

I bought a Mekk Poggio on AliExpress for 250 USD a year and half, I’ve 10k (indoor/outdoor) and looks so good so far, I’ve crashed twice but just scratch on the paint, so for this price these bikes have given me so many smiles 🙂 Great video!

I’d also highlight the "adventure" aspect of buying a cheap, unbranded/not well known, untested stuff, where I can find out myself if it’s good, make mods, fixes, etc. That’s why I have a Chinese Mini-Lathe, and that’s why I am only interested in Sensah shifters and so on. Cheap carbon frames can be a safety risk, but things like shifters aren’t quite so risky, and you always have two brakes. Nice video, thanks!

Honestly, going for a cheap chineese frame from velobuildmall or of the same ilk running sensah is probably the best for a critpig because you don’t want to crash your sexy new propel that cost you an arm and a leg

what chinese carbon frame would you recommend for endurance road bike? Winspace t1500 geometry is too racey for me? THanks

  8. LBG on September 9, 2022 at 1:57 am

Tbh the winspace T1500 and SLC are looking really good compared to more mainstream competitors. Plus rim break offerings are a plus when others are getting rid of it.

Branded frame, … Hey YouTuber, do you know most of the big brands are made in China or Taiwan. You failed to mention this important point

Anecdotal evidence with regards to safety, please provide statistics instead!!

S-Works produce in Taiwan (Merida) !!!

Well, the thing it’s that "affordable" road bikes from stablish brands cost 1000€ nowadays, equipped with Tourney in most cases, so they definitely want to give to this Chinese carbon frames a chance.

Should I get a cheap 700€ fixie from ali express? It looks good but has no orders and no reviews
