    wow, we are living in the age of meta-advertising…this 11-min MET-ad was interrupted twice by other ads for random stuff…:/ …it’s all wasted on me anyway, I have no money and own a MET Manta already…it is a sweet looking helmet and fits nicely but we’ll have to see what it’s like in in the Spanish summer, I’ve only used it in cooler temperatures so far but it does get hotter on a longer climb than my more conventional helmets…well, it’s the watt savings that count 😉

    I wear a TT helmet when it’s cold out because they don’t have a lot of cooling vents.

    It’s funny how very expensive aero helmets look just like dirt cheap ones – as in streamlined and with very little vents.

    didnt cycling weekly do a video were an uber expensive helmet was no faster than a $30 one that met all the safety stds?

    i used to have a Liquigas MET helmet,which was made in Italy,and was extremely well made.
    I recently bought this new Trenta carbon helmet,as I liked the look.
    Unfortunately,As soon as I took it out of the box,I noticed the quality was not the same!
    On closer inspection,I noticed that it said "Italian Design",and there was a very small label,that
    said "Made in China!!!
    These helmets were over £250+,but on offer,at the time,and I don’t pay top Dollar,for Chinese
    garbage!!!
    Luckily,There is an Italian brand,that design,and manufacture their helmets,in Italy(How it should
    be!).KASK is the brand,and I have several models including the new "Utopia",which come’s in bright
    orange,which is ideal,to go with my Parentini kit!

    Great topic!!! I think MET is a brand forgotten about but actually their well build AND well priced!!! I’ll be looking them up for my next aero road helmet 👌🏻
