#ASKGMBN Hi guys, love the channel. Normally I ride enduro so do you think a gravel bike is a good alternative for winterriding to keep endurance?

  3. Thierry Atkinson on July 9, 2019 at 11:11 pm

What do you think of the new santa Cruz megatower thinking of buying one but don’t now if I should choose a finance option or go for a bike that is a but cheaper

Hey! Just wondering if Neil has anything to add the his review of the new Canyon Strive since he rode it in the Andes Pacifica? Obviously spending a bit more time on it might have given him a new/different perspective and I’m considering getting one! Sadly I’m from Australia and there is no way to demo one- I’d just have to trust their sizing and take a gamble! So I’m on the hunt for extra details 🙂 thanks, Jen #askgmbn

    #askEMBN Hello guys! Can I attach a 31,8mm bar to a 35mm stem/bar clamp?

  11. Sebastian Parra Alvarez on July 9, 2019 at 11:29 pm

All of you ride with clip pedals?? Are there different kinds of clip pedals? What are the differences and which one is best for each type of Mtb? Thanks for your videos, lot of fans here in Colombia!! #AskGMBN

#ASKGMBN I own a POC Tectal (Helmet) and the corresponding POC Crave Glasses. Neil is smashing trails with the glasses stuck upside down in the front/top of the helmet. In my case, they don’t really stay in place. Can you maybe demonstrate how you guys do it? Loving both items, but on a hot climb, I want fresh air on my face and put the glasses on the helmet. Greetings!

#askgmbn – Cheap 1X crankset. I’m looking to convert to 1X but have a question.. There’s this cheap Chinese IXF crankset that sells for under $45 shipped to the US. My question is, what do you guys think of this set? Have any of you actually tested this crankset? Whether you have or haven’t do you think it’s safe? BTW, on Amazon, the reviews were pretty good, but God only knows how hard someone using this set actually pushes it… Thanks!

Hey guys, I’m intermediate mountain biker and would like to upgrade my fork (I am riding a 2017 diamondback overdrive) from the suntour xct which really doesn’t cut it for the trails i would like to ride. Do you have any suggestions?

  16. Leo Inclan on July 9, 2019 at 11:33 pm

#askgmbn I got a new commuter hardtail a few days ago. I ride flat pedals in the city and I’ve been getting some pain in the outside of my right foot (around and behind the smallest toe) after 15-20 minutes of riding. Any clues?

  17. Neil francis Enerio on July 9, 2019 at 11:36 pm

Hi guys, i have a question if is it ok when you lock your rear drailler when you ride enduro or downhill track? Tnx guys hoping for your answer

  18. Christopher Fay on July 9, 2019 at 11:36 pm

Hey #askgmbn or anybody in the comments.
I have 2.1 inch tyres on my 27.5inch rims with inner tubes. Would larger tyres work on the same rims or do I have to get larger rims.
The rims are not tubeless ready but to convert them to tubeless is it only rim tape, sealant and valves I need to convert them to tubeless or do I have to buy tubeless ready rims and tyres. Thanks

  20. Dorian Bariša on July 9, 2019 at 11:39 pm

  21. Mtb Tv on July 9, 2019 at 11:39 pm

#askGMBN Do you think I should get a road bike for training for enduro fitness or a jump bike to reinforce my bike skills

  22. KALM Biking on July 9, 2019 at 11:39 pm

  25. J G on July 9, 2019 at 11:41 pm

  26. Βασίλης Κ. on July 9, 2019 at 11:44 pm

#AskGMBN Is 160mm fork too much for a do it all hardtail? I’m worried about it when i will have to move around the city or maybe some 30-40 minutes road until i reach the trails (commencal meta ht am). Great show guys!!!

  27. kevinbowe1957 on July 9, 2019 at 11:46 pm

Is it common for tubeless tyres to sweat right after after more than two weeks?

  28. paul spencer on July 9, 2019 at 11:47 pm

#askgmbn hi guys, great show btw. I like to ride trails on my but this weekend I went to a trail centre that also has a jump park, I need the practice, is it worth me taking my shock pump in my bag and ramping up the pressure on my shock for the jumps then putting it back to my trail setting once I head back out on the singletrack? Cheers

  29. Jade Rando on July 9, 2019 at 11:47 pm

#askgmbn hi gmbn, Im right handed and when riding some technical sketchy trails I find myself squeezing my right brake lever and risk going otb. Does it matter how you set up your brake levers if your right or left handed? Or is it standard that right goes front and left lever for rear?

  30. HRDWR Music on July 9, 2019 at 11:49 pm

#askgmbn I have a Vitus Nucleus 275 VR, the most recent model i believe, with all the original components including wheelset and tires. Can i convert to tubeless without buying new tires/rims. Thanks!

  31. Duarte Baptista on July 9, 2019 at 11:49 pm

#askgmbn Hi guys , so i have a 130mm Rockshox Yari RC solo air fork and i am wondering if i can get more travel out of it maybe up to 150 or 160. Will i need any new parts to do so? Is it even possible?

  32. Takuro Stevens on July 9, 2019 at 11:51 pm

#askgmbn Hi guys, excellent show. Another fork question, can you put downhill forks on a trail bike? Would you have to have same length of travel? Would more travel ruin the geometry of the bike?

  33. Chris Kilner on July 9, 2019 at 11:51 pm

#AskGMBN I have a classic mid-90’s sub-24lb XC hardtail (3×8, 120mm stem, 100mm fork, and V-brakes)… I’m having trouble keeping up with my riding buddies (on aggressive modern bikes) in the technical stuff, but do fine everywhere else. I can pick up a dropper post for $100 and change… do you think that would be enough or should I finally replace my beloved race bike with an aggressive modern bike?

  34. Dominic Stein on July 9, 2019 at 11:53 pm

#AskGMBN Hey guys, I was wondering if it is bad for your suspension fork if you slam it down? Like if you land rear wheel heavy and your front end smacks the ground hard. Is that bad for it? Thanks love the stuff!

  35. Benji Jones on July 9, 2019 at 11:53 pm

#askgmbn I want to learn one foot tables, I ride right foot forward but lay my bike to the left. Would you learn to either take the back foot off, or table to the right?

  36. VeeDub on July 9, 2019 at 11:54 pm

#AskGMBN So my question is not really about riding or bikes. My question is why do people feel the need to belittle other riders that can’t afford a super expensive bike, ride an E-Bike. What is your pick on this whole divided world. We’re all riding and doing what we love, why is there so much hatred

  37. John Stanford on July 9, 2019 at 11:55 pm

Where can I get a shed load of cool mtb stickers for my rolling tool cab ??

  38. Captain Jivan on July 9, 2019 at 11:56 pm

#askgmbn should i get a high quality alloy hardcore hardtail mtb frame or a medium quality alloy full suspension trail mtb frame However, their price are very similar. Thank you.

Hi guys I’m a bit old school and have never used a dropper, I am thinking of giving one a go to see what all the fuss is about.
When should you actually drop the seat and when should you leave it.
Probably obvious I know but I’m a asking anyway.

  40. Adam Beuth on July 9, 2019 at 11:59 pm

Hi guys i bent my front wheel and got a whole new rim.I still have the old rim on the back and it is a different brand than the SYNCROS on the front will it be a problem?

  42. David Downing on July 10, 2019 at 12:00 am

#askgmbn A Tyre question. I’m new to tubeless tyres, so how frequently should I top up the sealant and is it ok to mix sealant brands say, Muck Off Or Peaty’s with Stans?

Just received my Canyon Spectral CF 7.0 last week. Been on two 15 mile rides. I love it! I was also a little nervous about buying it online without riding it. I spent hours comparing the geometry of lots of bikes with my current Trek Fuel with the idea of how I wanted to change my riding. Settled on the Spectral…it showed up…it’s beautiful and I love it!

  46. Mububban23 on July 10, 2019 at 12:07 am

Fox Pro Frame is amazingly ventilated. The air channels are so effective it’s like someone is blowing a fan into your face and over your scalp

I had to take off my rear tire last week because it wasn’t lined up with the brake pads, and since I put it back on I’ve been having trouble with my rear axle. It’s got a quick release lever but I can’t find the sweet spot between too tight to close and too loose to stay closed. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong or how I might fix this? Thanks
