If we drive at the right angles, how much reduction will we experience in our 200m fly time?

I’m not an aero expert, but i think a higher stack height (higher head tube on bike, or more practically, an inclined stem on this same bike) would take the forearms out of the wind and bring the head closer to the hands, decreasing the frontal area, and increasing aerodynamics and speed, while also being more comfortable while not in that position. It wouldn’t look as good though…

I think that this man could output a lot of power in a track sprint, like 2000watts or more?
I think for the initial accelleration phase, he might have an advantage as aerodynamics only play a big role at higher speeds.
Bein also aero by having a narrow upper body is generally ideal, but hey, you probably won’t get much leverage with your arms which can in turn make you slower, but I doubt that is a big difference.
The reason that cyclist have no upper body muscles is primarily weight and again, aero. On a track though, weight is not as important.
As an example, at 0.35 cda and weight of 1g (about the standard cda of a rider on the hoods in a normal position) I cannot even ride at 20kmh with the same power than if my cda was 0.25 and weighed 90kg (which isn’t that crazy low actually, I’ve seen 0.15 lowest ever from Dan Bigham at UCI hour record). Aero on the flatts is that powerfull. This changes when I ride uphill steeper than about 7% I think (idk for sure), but riding at elite level aero matters because they climb 1bove 15kmh and frequently 20kmh. See? Really powerfull stuff, aerodynamics

Well, on the flats and downhill this guy would kill hill climbers of the road. I do that and don’t worry about climbing too much. Done this on a track bike on the road but not so much downhill! There dominate uphill and suffer spinning like a big crazy guy downhill! This guy looks mostly like a sprinter who"s also a bit fast on the flats.
