Hi guys! In this video, I show you my top 5 go-to healthy snacks. I love nutrition and I actually studied it a few years ago and I am now a certified Health Coach!I love sharing the foods I love and how I keep myself healthy, happy and nourished.

These snacks are light, easy and healthy. Enjoy! 🙂

1. Apples + peanut butter or almond butter
2. Veggies + Hummus
3. Veggies and “lazy girl” guacamole
4. Hard boiled eggs with hot sauce
5. Trail mix with peanut butter cups

    Doing those things also helps soothe nervous system and combats adrenal fatigue where more cortisol is released. This can screw up metabolism.

    A body can have an oz of dark chocolate a day, but I have it at end of meal, splitting it up if eating twice or three times a day.

    Whenever I feel like a snack, try a 1/3 to tsp of sea salt, nutrional yeast, and ground flax, along w a sip of chia seeds. Believe snack urge is body saying it needs vitamin b, potassium, and magnesium. I also include a tsp of nutritional yeast. For me this kills snack urge, eliminates insulin spike that occurs each time one eats. I try to repeat this every four hours during awake time, but will do in the middle of night, like this reply.

    You can mix vegetarian refried beans with salsa to the consistency of a dip for veggies. Yummy. Try jicama strips and red pepper strips. I love your snacks. Keep doing this, maybe once a week?
