If the stumpjumper Evo is a trail, is the stumpjumper an XC? So what’s is the Epic? All-Mountain doesn’t exist then anymore?

“We’d love to know what you think of our picks so let us know in the comment section below”

Truth is, that’s a lie. You don’t care at all what random strangers think of your picks. That’s just you trying to manipulate your audience.

  7. Michael Nugent on May 17, 2023 at 8:17 am

Norco Optic ? decent pricing and Designed in the home of modern mtb not 1980s cali

  8. IIISentorIII on May 17, 2023 at 8:18 am

I did buy the S4 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp Carbon Gloss White Mountains / Black for 3250 US (3150 CHF, 3200 Euro) here in Switzerland Yesterday. The S4 is sold out and they told me I will have it in 5-6 Weeks. Perfect for Spring. This Bike will replace my Scott Genius 🙂

  9. David Pálka on May 17, 2023 at 8:19 am

  13. Sunshine on May 17, 2023 at 8:23 am

Forgot the ibis Ripley carbon !!!!!💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 ridden most of these on the list and still doesn’t do what the short travel Ripley does

  14. Igor Aleksandrovich on May 17, 2023 at 8:23 am

For most people top trail bike is the one they can afford. Unfortunately. I’d be happy with any one of these, but 6k to 7k USD for "basic" version is just stupid. And top ones going well over 10k nowaday.

  15. Danny Zuehlsdorf on May 17, 2023 at 8:23 am

The color of the Smuggler is GREAT! I think they have two but ORCHID is the color I would go with. Gorgeous.

  16. Andreas Hafenscher on May 17, 2023 at 8:24 am

The steel is real Reeb SST, BH Lynx – an amazing value bike , the Commencal TEMPO Öhlins Edition and the Transition Smuggler.

  17. Ednalda Alves on May 17, 2023 at 8:25 am

Só bike linda, top… Um sonho

  18. Gerald Golen on May 17, 2023 at 8:26 am

Would it have killed you to include US $$$ cost on these models?

  19. Enrique Nestor A. Eseo on May 17, 2023 at 8:27 am

only the expensive bike is top 5 and only the name….and how about other bike like CUBE

  20. eMTB Adventure on May 17, 2023 at 8:27 am

    No Scor 4060 ST ?

  21. 3 Piece on May 17, 2023 at 8:27 am

Kona process 136 should be in that list!

  22. Al Capone on May 17, 2023 at 8:29 am

Nukeproof Reactor is missing. But all shown models are really cool stuff 👌🏼

  23. Stockfish on May 17, 2023 at 8:30 am

Would love to get fuel ex or exe to go with my 2022 slash 9.8. But the price is just outrageous ;/

  24. FluffyFractalshard on May 17, 2023 at 8:31 am

I think people are figuring out whats the most beautiful frame geometry and it shows: nearly all of them have a similar shape.
My favourite on this list is the Transition Smuggler (in pink 😉

  25. Pete Mac on May 17, 2023 at 8:33 am

No full 27.5 in there? All just clumsy wagon wheels? Disappointing 😉😅

  26. Clifford Richard c on May 17, 2023 at 8:33 am

    evil following

  27. The_Spoked_Brown_Tiger on May 17, 2023 at 8:34 am

Picked up my Specialized Stumpjumper EVO Comp late January this year!

  28. ThunderStruckMTB on May 17, 2023 at 8:35 am

You buried the lead…. All 5 bikes have designers that kept the cables out of the headset. Hopefully all other brands that weren’t smart enough and fell victim to the "super kool look" crash and burn all the way to the ground.

  29. johnny bravo on May 17, 2023 at 8:37 am

The Trek is hideous. The other bikes are rad though !!!

  30. Nick Manser on May 17, 2023 at 8:38 am

Yeah pivot shadowcat, one of the best and most fun trail bikes I have ever riden.

  31. Jason W on May 17, 2023 at 8:39 am

Not listing Ibis Ripley and Pivot Trail 429 is criminal. 3-4 of these bikes don’t hold a candle to either one.

  32. Zadius895 on May 17, 2023 at 8:39 am

I think the smuggler should be on the top of everyone’s list. It’s too bad the prices have slowly been creeping up over the years.

  33. David Geiger on May 17, 2023 at 8:39 am

No one talking about disadvantages of plastic bikes and their small bearings, not for real athletes
    Raaw jibb is missing

  34. J the trader on May 17, 2023 at 8:43 am

No polygon or marin? I get it….we are still fanboying over the big names with the big price tags 😴🫢

  35. markyp1965 on May 17, 2023 at 8:44 am

Currently riding a carbon Transition Patrol, which is coming up for 3 years old and has been faultless. Must say though, if I was going to get a new bike this year, the new Smuggler would be top of the list.

  36. Be Lieve on May 17, 2023 at 8:46 am

    You missed the Evil Following.

  37. Shaun Donovan on May 17, 2023 at 8:46 am

    Canyon Spectral 125?? 🤔

  38. Aaron Turner on May 17, 2023 at 8:48 am

    Revel Ranger or Rascal?

  39. BikeRadar on May 17, 2023 at 8:49 am

What do you think of the brand new Transition Smuggler? 👀

  40. Pick n move on May 17, 2023 at 8:50 am

Pivot 429 enduro is the best trail bike ive ever ridden

  41. Michael Scott on May 17, 2023 at 8:51 am

Anything New that costs less than a crosser with a powerful engine 🤔

  42. Michael Michaelagnew on May 17, 2023 at 8:54 am

I bought a Trek Fuel EX 8 gen 6 so I go with the Fuel EX.

  43. matthias campedelli on May 17, 2023 at 8:55 am

I think the new Last Coal looks insane on paper. Would be rad if you could test one !

  44. brian Johnstone on May 17, 2023 at 8:59 am

You’s always do the most expensive brands aswell take out a second mortgage to get one but I’d try the smuggler take out a third mortgage and get some ohlins to match the paint 🤣🤣🤣great work lad’s

  45. sw1ney MTB on May 17, 2023 at 9:00 am

I’m still loving my 2022 Vitus Escape AMP full carbon, it never fails to put a smile on my face. Think its hard to beat for the money.

  46. SolitaryRefinement on May 17, 2023 at 9:01 am

They all look like Turner 5 Spots (most beautiful trail bike ever).

  47. Simon Page on May 17, 2023 at 9:02 am

How about to the Orange Switch 7… ?? Manufactured in Halifax & as a brand never seem to get any mention. Specialized – Trek – Santa Cruz 🙄

  48. WD99 on May 17, 2023 at 9:02 am

    Norco Optic

  49. Jevgeni Ardassov on May 17, 2023 at 9:03 am

Just back from Madeira, loved my Transition Sentinel rental. Gorgeous and capable machine, always thought they were overhyped, don’t think it anymore. Will get one myself down the line. 👍
