Gloves are one of those things we all use, but don’t put too much time into thinking about. I’m all about finding the best products at the best price and TASCO & Handup stood out as being a notch above the rest. But what separates those two companies? I answer that and so much more in this video!

Great info! I am about to post my own video asking for opinions on gloves soon. Beat me to the punch

  4. Tomi Saaranen on July 12, 2019 at 11:42 pm

I always use my skiing gloves 👍🏻

  5. Juan Alvarez on July 12, 2019 at 11:42 pm

The “towel” thumb is very useful to me so I think I’ll try the Handups.

  6. Robbie nationalist on July 12, 2019 at 11:43 pm

    Machinix gloves work great 🖒👍

  7. Phillip Kim on July 12, 2019 at 11:44 pm

Josh very important, do they both have conductive materials to our smartphone screens? Hard to get that Strava started or MTB projects with some brands.

  8. tigerbalm on July 12, 2019 at 11:44 pm

    I only get handjobs

  9. MBS on July 12, 2019 at 11:45 pm

I know they are great gloves but they are kind of expensive and you can get a sweet set of units with a cool design that are a lot cheaper i compared the two in the shop and found no difference they are great i think if you can afford the two its a good bet but if you can’t go to your local motocross store and get the units for a good deal

  10. Bo Modderman on July 12, 2019 at 11:46 pm

you should try the fox flexair glove, it is comfortable, has good protection and grip, and it feels like wearing no gloves but with the grip, and protection

  11. THE PRO on July 12, 2019 at 11:48 pm

Got the fox demo gloves, no padding, no velcro, fit my hands pretty well

  12. Mr Gonzalez on July 12, 2019 at 11:50 pm

    I like fox ranger glives

  13. Bishop Kalliko on July 12, 2019 at 11:50 pm

I couldn’t used either one of these for I need a glove that had good gel padding in the palm to address the numbness I get at times. To that I’m looking at the Endura Hummvee Plus Glove IIs. I’d really like to see a review on the best bang for the buck full finger gel padded gloves for the Hummvee are a bit pricey and I’d like a nice glove that has cool designs because we ALL KNOW riding is as much about the STYLE as it is about the gear being good & affordable!

  14. Trail Lady MTB on July 12, 2019 at 11:52 pm

I ride my bike and wear 100% brand gloves. Picked them up at Cycle Gear for 12 bucks on.clearance.they work great. Same type of style of your comparison gloves. No palm padding. Or velcro. I doLove mynFox Dirt Paws. But like to switch it up. They work fine. I think the tascos look like they fit better than the hand up one. I kike the tascos.

  15. Tony Robinson on July 12, 2019 at 11:53 pm

Tasco is a terrible name. it sounds like Costco. I don’t want to wear Costco gloves. I will never want the Company name in massive letters across the glove. As far as style Hand Up wins hands down.

  16. SG Carter on July 12, 2019 at 11:54 pm

I have a pair of Tasco double digits and Hand Uo ‘Merica gloves. I love both pairs. That said so far the Tasco gloves have seemed to hold more moisture and leaves my hands feeling waterlogged after a hard ride. I’m still testing but so far it seems the Hand up gloves wick moisture a little better

  17. Lewis Windle on July 12, 2019 at 11:58 pm

I can’t wear a glove with padding. Theses two companies hit the mark for minimal gloves!

  18. Kazak Thranduil on July 13, 2019 at 12:00 am

The real question is why buy anything at full price? Extreme sports retail clothing is always on sale, go to Backcountry or Jenson and get what’s on sale!

  19. Elijah Bankhead on July 13, 2019 at 12:01 am

Being from Chattanooga where Handup calls home, I’ll never leave them…even when I move to Bellingham in a few months

  20. budycelyn on July 13, 2019 at 12:04 am

i know the video is about gloves but i couldn’t take my eyes off the ding in the rear rim of the raleigh

    Dusty Betty rocks Tasco👊🏽🚵🏽🌵

  22. bnutz623 on July 13, 2019 at 12:06 am

I personally prefer the style and designs of handup. That’s just me.

  23. J P on July 13, 2019 at 12:06 am

    I’d start at 2:43

  24. Christopher Chappell on July 13, 2019 at 12:07 am

I would have liked to try Tasco gloves, but with an XL size the have nothing in stock… Handup looked good but after ten minutes of looking at different gloves, they also don’t have much in stock either. It’s not a good first impression of both companies.

  25. Skills With Phil on July 13, 2019 at 12:09 am

Great video! I went back and forth between using TASCO and Handup gloves before I eventually partnered with TASCO. I don’t think you can go wrong supporting either company, and heck why not get a set from each company? They’re both disrupting the market and ultimately doing really cool things.

realy great video. 10 k subs now
been here since about 2000 subs

  27. Jacksquatch on July 13, 2019 at 12:11 am

So I just use motocross gloves, moose or thor or fly (klim bunches up on me) , no padding. Always have. Also your rear tire is finally flat.

  28. Daily MTB Rider on July 13, 2019 at 12:14 am

What to grab a pair of these sweet "Indivisible" USA gloves from Tasco? You’ll have to wait till May 1st – but I think you you’ll agree the wait is worth it! To ease your pain you can use the code MTBDAILY to grab 10% off anything on their site!

  31. Shane Albertson on July 13, 2019 at 12:16 am

Answer gloves have worked well for me. $10 amazon.

  32. Dannylands 394 on July 13, 2019 at 12:16 am

I know tasco gloves have conductive material in the fingertips which allows you to use your phone while wearing them, does handup have this feature as well? Can you use your phones touchscreen while wearing them?

  33. Johannes Nilsen on July 13, 2019 at 12:20 am

None of these will do it for me, I need protection for fingers and knuckles.

  34. Benflaton on July 13, 2019 at 12:22 am

What about gripgrab with their inside grip? I’ve been using the gripgrab vertical gloves and I don’t want to use anything else. The inside grip makes the biggest difference for me, you can release a lot of pressure off your hands when riding rought terrain. If i use any other glove without inside grip I feel like sliding around in them

  35. Old Man Fat Bike on July 13, 2019 at 12:24 am

This was very helpful and a great comparison! THANK YOU 🙂

  36. Handup Gloves on July 13, 2019 at 12:26 am

    Thanks for the review! @DailyMTBRider

  37. Anton Paris on July 13, 2019 at 12:26 am

I live over seas so sadly these two companies are very hard to come by and can be expensive. Luckily though, the guys at handup were awesome enough to give me a discount so i buy them at a reasonable price. Love those guys!

  38. Alvis Gineika on July 13, 2019 at 12:28 am

    How about POC?

  39. Paul B on July 13, 2019 at 12:29 am

How are these better than TLD Ace?

  40. vaas montenegro on July 13, 2019 at 12:29 am

I chose handup cuz im that rider that has a EXTRA BRIGHT setup heres a quick description of my bike: light green ODI longneck grips (they are very nice) and a bright ass light green frame from kenda and just the rest of the bike is just custom light green😂. So my whole bike is fluorescent green. And im that stand out rider that wears bright ass shit😂

  41. Luka skuk on July 13, 2019 at 12:30 am

    Try 100% celium 2 gloves….

  42. Peter Dziedzic on July 13, 2019 at 12:33 am

    Awkward vid man…awkward!!!

  43. Jon Thomas on July 13, 2019 at 12:33 am

So if I follow Handup’s sizing guide I’m a L but on Tasco I’m an XL. I had handup before and they were too tight! The XL Tasco gloves are just right?

  44. BIGBORE375HH on July 13, 2019 at 12:33 am

    Great unbiased review! 👍👍

  45. Brian Gunn on July 13, 2019 at 12:33 am

Just placed an order for some handups the other day. Now it looks like I need to order some TASCo’s too.

  46. cornishcactus on July 13, 2019 at 12:34 am

If you watch Biking with Bobo you’ll see why he’s their ambassador, suits his style, fun vids, but not my thing.
I was kinda expecting this to be ( once you meantioned they back you ) a Tasco love fest, give me your gentlemen relish oooh Tasco. Buttt…. just looking at how the gloves sat on your hands, the bunching on the back of the handup it’s clear the Tasco is the better glove fit for you.

My similar glove is a 661 Raja which is great, if a little shorter on the wrist.

I’d love to find a UK source for these, maybe a little less shouty tho.
Something with "how about a nice cup of tea" printed on the palm.

  47. Hardscoping Chinchilla on July 13, 2019 at 12:34 am

Well it damn well better be hand up,since I just ordered handups before watching this

  48. Jordan Armstrong on July 13, 2019 at 12:35 am

Good video! I’ve always just run the overly padded (read: gel) roadie style fingerless gloves, mainly because I need my fingers free and clear when I’m riding the mountain bike at work. That being said, this video has intrigued me and I may try the "less is more" approach on my personal bike, regarding the padding. My only wish on your video is a comparison of longevity – you mentioned how the Fox gloves didn’t really stand up over time, so I thought you may include that was one of your judging criteria. Maybe in the future?! Thanks for the video, as always.
