Top 12 New Electric Bicycles for Off-Road Adventures (eMTB 2018)

When a brand new car comes out it is hard to determine right away whether it deserves praise and acknowledgement. Experts have to take their time testing the novelty in order to recommend it to the buyers. Today we want to present to you a compilation of the best sports cars that have been thoroughly tested by the automotive community and could be strongly recommended for purchase today. These four-wheelers combine key characteristics of perfect automobiles: responsive driving, agility, unprecedented road handling, fast speed and acceleration, and of course that extreme comfort that the driver experiences behind the wheel. We might have selected some unorthodox entries for a sports cars list, but be sure that each automobile can stand its own both on the track and on the roads.

  4. Steve Padilla on July 2, 2019 at 7:37 pm

cool bikes, but with a $5000+ price point I rather get a dirt bike and enjoy trails I go on out my way. But Still Very Cool and the world is ready for the e-Bike all purpose mountain biking.

All great bikes although very questionable price points for the value. There are a few reasonably priced mtb pedelecs out there…………just have to find them. One that I find reasonably priced for its value is the Motobecane 27.5 Full Suspension MTB HAL eBoost PRO Shimano E8000 Electric MidDrive currently sold by BikesDirect for $3500.00. (http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/motobecane/full-suspension-mountain-bikes/ebikes-hal-eboost-electric-mountain-bikes.htm) Personally I believe that there is………….and has been ………price collusion among the mtb retailers to overinflate and maintain high price points. I refuse to buy into this game. Bikes like the MOTOBECANE get very little exposure because the ‘big guys’ intimate the hell out of small business/private reviewers. So what is predominately shown and reviewed are high end overpriced bikes. Here’s an honest review by a Motobecane E-mtb user: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9HAAQl0dr4 . BTW: I hate responding to a computer-generated voice.

A little confused by the pricing for the Specialized.  I thought the S-Works model has a price tag over $9K – more than twice the price you showed for that model.  Unless you were showing the top end model then showing the price for the cheapest model.

Who’s about to pay 9,000.00 for a bicycle???

  19. John Tiller on July 2, 2019 at 8:12 pm

I pick up the hard tail. It has open up so many more riding option. I feel super confident that I can tackle any long up hill rides. I am now planing to ride the forest trails of North Japan in the autumn of 2019.Travelling from village to village using the old  over mountain walking trails. These trails are millennium old. It a bike ride I have dream about but never able to do because of my hate of pushing up hills. Yes I am old but this bike make me fell young and capable riding anywhere.

No way no how. Never never never

  28. Must See Tech on July 2, 2019 at 8:27 pm

!!!UPDATE!!! Pricing for the Specialized Turbo Levo is incorrect. On the video we presented technical specs for the highest trim Turbo S, that actually costs $9,500. The most affordable Turbo Levo FSR, though, indeed costs $4,500 but carries much humbler package of hardware.

Tackling the hills could be rather tough, but electric mountain bikes are here to solve this problem. Which one is you favorite?
