Anna, dein Streben immer alles zu geben hat dich unsterblich gemacht. Gold in Tokio und 160 Kilometer Solo bei der la Vuelta nach Segovia. Danke! Du bist ein gigantisches Vorbild fΓΌr uns. Mach weiter fΓΌr uns. Freuen uns schon dich in Paris 2024 wiederzusehen! LG aus deiner Heimat

At 4:17:50 you can see both sides of the racetrack with Anna (and the helping cars) in one side and the peloton in the other side, but the peloton didnt see Anna. I’m wondering why.

The real reason is the disc brake bikes can’t get any where near the light weight rim brake bikes

  18. MrBenedictus25 on November 28, 2022 at 8:23 am

Miss van vleuten is a pro rider who should know that there is a car or bike just behind the leader. If this car is not there und are not the leader

Arrogant dutch standing 2 meters away from Anna and not gratulating her.
Denmark women was first to Do that.

  25. Tony Willis on November 28, 2022 at 8:30 am

Those Dutch ladies just didn’t want to work together. Not surprising really as they really see each other as competitors and not as teammates.

Disc brakes are a bit to quick to lock the back wheels up

  37. 9g8hestro on November 28, 2022 at 8:47 am

04:19:36 The Dutch did such a nice work at the front for the silver medal. The attack from the back of the group by van der Breggen, van Vleuten blocking, then places herself in a no mans land, sneaking up at the wheel of van der Breggen, and when van Vleuten attacks from there no one have her wheel or the legs to follow. Interesting footage also of a confused van Vleuten and her dutch teammates after the race..

I actually would not like to be in a race with these women as those bikes would be suited more to a mountain bike event.

04:26:10 I love how Anna Kiesenhofer goes from crying to "there’s a camera recording me!", I should puff up and act like champ !

    Adorable ☺️.

  47. Phil Forde on November 28, 2022 at 8:55 am

The male commenter holds a world record for worn out clichΓ©s. I wished he shut his mouth.

  48. Thomas Siller on November 28, 2022 at 8:56 am

At 18:20 you can see Anna Kiesenhofer warming up physically and mentally behind the peloton the effort she is committed for, whilest the commentators discuss potential winners, far from what comes to be reality.
