Hi Charles, great content thanks ! Wanted to get your opinion for the Castelli Perfetto ROS jersey. Have you tried it or could recommend it? I’m thinking of just having 1 really good jersey, instead of multiple cheaper jackets, thermals and jerseys. I’d appreciate your opinion, thanks again

Montreal weather sucks huh 😄 nice tips sir! Thanks ❤️ hope to see you in Camillien houde 👋

  4. Fabricio Orrego on December 7, 2020 at 9:35 pm

Bonne vidéo surtout pour la température aléatoire de Montréal 😂 as-tu un bike shop où tu préfères acheter les vêtements de vélo à Montréal? Histoire de supporter les commerces locaux 💪 merci!

Does the nanoflex remain water repellent after washing?

Socks…over or under legwarmers ?Pulling off legwarmers is easier when they are over the socks but I feel I loose styling points in that configuration 😂

  9. R Geel on December 7, 2020 at 9:43 pm

So far this year I have only had to add the vest and arm warmers. December I may need the jacket and full finger gloves.

  10. Job V on December 7, 2020 at 9:45 pm

Very informative! Thanks Charles, really good video 👌

    Un autre 1000$ 😭

  12. Charlie C on December 7, 2020 at 9:55 pm

At 10C in Toronto, I just wear my summer jersey (Castelli VANTAGGIO JERSEY) + vest base layer (Castelli PRO MESH SLEEVELESS) + light bibtights (CHPT3 BIB TIGHTS — 1.13) with arm warmers (NANO FLEX 3G ARMWARMER). As long as I am moving, I don’t feel cold lol.

  13. CBMaster2 on December 7, 2020 at 9:55 pm

What about socks? Do you wear the same socks year long and adjust with the shoes cover or do you use merino wool socks for colder temperatures?

  14. Jeffrey Kaufmann on December 7, 2020 at 9:55 pm

I live in Montreal and right now I use my winter down jacket when bicycling in November. It’s so warm I only need to wear a t-shirt under it. The only downside is that the jacket is very bulky which creates a lot of air resistance. I’m sure I would feel too cold if I wear the jacket you recommend for 5-10 degrees Celsius.

  15. Ashley Calloway on December 7, 2020 at 9:57 pm

What brand were those shoe covers ?

  16. Fred Couture on December 7, 2020 at 9:57 pm

Les bons vieux chauffe main et pieds utiliser en ski !!!!! Pas besoin de payer une fortune Si tu gèle pas des pieds ou mains tu es OK

+1 for those neoprene shoe covers!

  20. Rak Rakovica on December 7, 2020 at 10:00 pm

Anything below 20 degree is cold. I`m starting to put some clotting on me. In 0-5 degree I`m moving to basement and turbo trainer.
Your advise is really good, but I need to shift everything 5 degree up.
My ideal temperature is 25-30, sunshine, no clouds, open road, me and bike. Can`t wait for summer. This winter is to long.

  23. Stanislav Kindiakov on December 7, 2020 at 10:03 pm

Thank you, this is the best video to explain me what should I buy to do autumn/winter cycling!

  24. Dr Peter jones on December 7, 2020 at 10:03 pm

please note to avoid critical injury and
death NEVER wear dark clothing or have a dark coloured frame. Life is
valuable never squander it away by taking high risk situations. Deaths
from bike accidents are on the increase because motorist dont see you.

Always wear bright light clothing and light coloured bikes. Never wear
    black….

  25. Michael Kennedy on December 7, 2020 at 10:03 pm

I bought the Bontrager Velocis Soft Shell jacket which works really well with a light base layer like Marino wool . This jacket keeps your chest and arms warm but vents heat out the thinner back panel. It’s good between temps of 5 to 12 deg C.

just need 5-6 years to accumulate all these items on sale so you can bike comfortably without first studying dentistry 😉

  27. lordalfa600 on December 7, 2020 at 10:12 pm

Err… I am from BC. I’ll use the money to buy a Wahoo indoor trainer. 😛

  28. Nicolas B on December 7, 2020 at 10:12 pm

    Nice tips !! Thanks Charles

  29. Urban Pictures on December 7, 2020 at 10:14 pm

Unlike GCN or other youtubers, we actually live in the same city. Therefore, your advice is the most sound for me
Edit: Can you please link all the materials in the description?

15-20° is just like a regular fresh summer day in the alps. no reason for any specific clothes at 15+ 😀

The best fall/autumn cycling clothing advice on the net. I think I will need a bib tights without pad to get more uses of my bib shorts.
