Surviving the SLOP at Mont Sainte-Anne | Mountain Biking Quebec City
Surviving the SLOP at Mont Sainte-Anne | Mountain Biking Quebec City
Six months ago I came to Quebec City to ride fat bikes in the snow. It was a great adventure, but my heart and wheels belong on the rocks. I met a bunch of great people on that trip and this time around they’re going to show me the summertime fun in Quebec.
And oh my goodness it was fun.

What? When?? I just missed you man, we where there just today
Man … your DT rims are holding up good??? … maybe time for me to take a look at them. But you run cushcore on both front and back right?
That trail looks gnarly
A great reminder… WINTER IS COMING!!! But biking is still fun. Even when wet (Vancouver tip… after the ride put your jacket on the car seat inside out to keep the mud somewhat off your driver seat!)
Those trails look amazing. Would love to ride out there, too bad about all the mud though. π©
It could have been worse ππ²
I know you’ve really worked on getting better and it shows but you really stepped it up when you got the Orbea Rallion. Keep up the great rides and videos, looking forward to each one.
All that way and you didnβt attempt the most famous tech feature in the world?! I feel cheated. You need another trip out there.
Insane!
WOW!! upping your game Brian π Those Last trails are stuff of nightmares!!(al least for the Bikes) super nice riding, congratz!
It’s funny how I see some of those trails (the big ones) and all I can think about is "Damn… I can’t wait to snowboard down those hills this winter" π
the better the slops, the better the flops…awesome
Que. Video. Jajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaj. π΅π΅π΅π΅π΅. π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄. π
Random thought, but I miss barends lol
Thanks for teaching about the dangers of wet roots with your face.
Crazy riding! Wet roots freak me out, add rocks to the mix and I’d probably be walking
Amazing trails :o)
Hate all the giggles nothing’s funny
I thought you were going to eat it soo many times but you held on haha
Gotta love that squirly downhill mud. everyone likes drifting their bike until you do it shooting downhill through a patch of mud lol
m/ m/
Love the old Quebec City! If and when I go back I will check out these trails.
π€π€©π€ GRANDE AMIGO
I think the double blacks had more rocks and diagonal roots coming out of nowhere.
Dang, you drove from California to Quebec City! That’s one hell of a road trip, I loved your Michigan videos too, can’t wait to see where you bike next.
Que perro video
Ahah = fine, fun / ohoh = rough / ohhh = close call / ihihihih = steep. Some variations may apply but here are the basic BKXC trail’s language.
You know the weather here, is payback for the nice dry rides you had in Wales and Scotland, right? Nice edit as always
Quebec city is a bikers paradise. Not just for mountain bikes but road bikes to. The city landscape is mesmerizing.
Brian really has stepped up his game. Good going.
I’m so amazed by your progression. About a year ago there were lots of "ehh, nooot doing that". Now your progression gives you so much more confidence in your ability.
So now we see funny stuff like this mad conditions and a Brian that’s looking for more exciting lines and jumps which makes for good content.
Maybe there’s hope for me to π
11:10 sick line!!
All the gnarliness rolled into one OTB section after another. Definitely a progression ride for you. They should host an EWS race there, thatβs how good it looks.
MSA is legendary! Looked like some serious fun π
Doing the rockhopper enduro this year?
Pretty Sick!!!
This looks rlly cool! I might make a trip here in a few years, 8 hours from long island so not horrible! Closer then virginia lmao
crack kills
Those were some awesome trails…who would of thought the QC!! Great video B
I love this guys videos but is it me or does he miss every jump he can. Personally watching people do jumps is the best parts but he avoids them…….
I see you’re doing a fair bit of traveling at the moment. Are you at all tempted to go down the van route??
is this in canada or vietnam?
Saw some ass crack! O.o But seriously though, the trails look great although a little wet. Somebody get Geome a dropper post! π
Chunk and muck, damn Brian! I don’t think i’ve seen you come off the bike that many times in one video, way to hang in there!
Iβm confused, Werenβt you just in Canada?
Fab trailπ
Fuck nuggets you handled those wall rides, drop offs and chuets like a champ. When your on your game your on your game!!!. Loved all that Rocky jank, reminds me of stuff within an hour’s drive all round me here in Southern Ontario. Just not as long and with nice long decsents. You ride the slip and slide well.ππππ
Cool
Respect the SLOP!
Dope Video! Sending blessing your way, Keep inspiring!πππ»
