Any issues with having to extend cables? Or is there always enough slack to rise that high?

  2. Matthew Holloway on October 7, 2020 at 4:00 am

Could just bought yourself a Gpa bike. 🤣😂🤣

There’s an owl hooting up a storm in this video that’s making me lol.

  5. Lenin Mercedes on October 7, 2020 at 4:06 am

Just curious ……. how tall are you in relation to your bike? I’m 5’7. And my bike is 16 inches. Looks pretty much like your after pic. Maybe mine is slightly higher. Ty..

  6. David Colk on October 7, 2020 at 4:07 am

And your seat looks way to low 🤭

  7. Lerway Lerway on October 7, 2020 at 4:08 am

  9. Jeff Martin on October 7, 2020 at 4:09 am

Negative stem angle while trying to raise the bar height with steering tube addition. Oh well

  10. David Colk on October 7, 2020 at 4:11 am

  11. annette Sereno on October 7, 2020 at 4:12 am

  13. your friend on October 7, 2020 at 4:14 am

Ignore all the know it alls that think they are professionals and have to mock and say things that make them look big. They just look for anything to try to boost their ego. If the bike feels good to you and your comfortable and your having fun, who cares what all these critics want to say. I see alot of suggestions just buy a new bike that fits you better, well im sure you would be happy to receive one. How about one of you fine folks reading this donate him one, if this video bothers you that much.. Thanks for the video and your time!

    You have a kids bike

  15. YELLOW JACKET on October 7, 2020 at 4:14 am

I wouldn’t go so hard on the extended raiser , it might fail

  16. Mike on October 7, 2020 at 4:17 am

I used a 🧹 broom stick. Was too cheap to buy the part

  17. Sergio Gobbi on October 7, 2020 at 4:18 am

How can you choose the right extension for the right bike? I bought an Ecotric Vortex E-Bike, and the handlebar is so short, it hurts my back. Amazon has them but I have no clue which one is going to fit. Any suggestions, anyone?

  18. YOUR DAD on October 7, 2020 at 4:24 am

Yeah I’m sure everyone just has a handlebar riser just sitting in their garage! 👎👎👎👎👎

  19. Manikin transformer Sea on October 7, 2020 at 4:24 am

No fair I’ve been trying to use my new bike and when ever I try to sit on it me and the bike will fall

  20. Andy sas on October 7, 2020 at 4:24 am

Might also help to flip your stem the right side up

  21. code_0101100101010011 on October 7, 2020 at 4:24 am

4:13 the bike is not the right size for you. Your feet are peddling behind the saddle, they should be in a neutral line to the saddle.. You need a new bike dude, correctly sized for your height. 🧏

  22. Ricardo Gomes Pedro on October 7, 2020 at 4:24 am

Man, stop doing adjustments, this bike is way too small for you. No wonder you have pain…

  23. Bigfoot on October 7, 2020 at 4:25 am

    This looks so uncomfortable.

  24. Cyberdemon on October 7, 2020 at 4:26 am

You DON’T want the stem to be flush with the steerer tube. You need to have a little gap, because the top bolt and cap are there to preload the bearings. Make sure to have a small gap (about 5mm), tighten the top cap first and the stem bolts on the side second.

How to take your bike from Nelson to Ned Flanders in only five minutes.

  26. Zulham Syahputra on October 7, 2020 at 4:30 am

    use adjustable stem,,,,whort it

  27. Roger Palin on October 7, 2020 at 4:30 am

Certainly an option, but you’d be far better off with a bike that fits properly. This is too small for you.

  28. iokarus on October 7, 2020 at 4:32 am

You should always tighten the top bolt to provide preload for the bearings before tightening the side bolts or the forks will be loose in the frame.

A warning to anyone watching this, it’s pretty bad technical advice with at least 2 mistakes and this modification will make the bike much harder to ride.

  29. Ray MaQ on October 7, 2020 at 4:33 am

if the plan was for a more up right position you could have tried changing the stem instead of using a negative one.

  30. Kushal Grg on October 7, 2020 at 4:35 am

How much is your handle bar raiser length is it 124 mm or 138 mm ??

  31. Dr Nefarious on October 7, 2020 at 4:36 am

Is it just me, or is his stem not angled down? If he had of flipped his stem to positive rise, he would’ve saved the cash paid on a gimmick to raise the bars.

  32. Klára Solymosi on October 7, 2020 at 4:37 am

    My eyes are burning

  33. Jayne Frost on October 7, 2020 at 4:38 am

When leaning over the lower handlebars did you find there was more pressure on your wrists and hands. I’m having a problem with this and was looking to raise my bars a few inches.

  34. thnaks on October 7, 2020 at 4:40 am

Why are you riding a childrens size?

  35. MichaelH on October 7, 2020 at 4:41 am

Better off just getting a comfort bike.

  36. D on October 7, 2020 at 4:42 am

Never ever raise your handlebar. It’s not aero!

  37. tykkään omenoista on October 7, 2020 at 4:42 am

Why am I seeing these comments "does it work with roadbikes?" wth

  38. GameTV on October 7, 2020 at 4:42 am

Thanks a lot! Got my new bike today and I need This!

  39. Gareth Clayfield on October 7, 2020 at 4:44 am

Thank you for the demonstration. Now I know what I need to do and have ordered a riser. Looking forward to riding in a more upright position.

  40. Alfa Romeo on October 7, 2020 at 4:45 am

  41. Cheryl Wagstaff on October 7, 2020 at 4:46 am

  42. Shivangi Thakur on October 7, 2020 at 4:46 am

    thankyou sooooo much

  43. Phuq Yoo on October 7, 2020 at 4:47 am

"Cruising down the sidewalk"? Please don’t be irresponsible like that. Ride in the road, where bicycles belong.

  44. Bamcis100 on October 7, 2020 at 4:49 am

Can you buy/swap out handle bars that extended back more toward the rider?

  45. Sara Sa on October 7, 2020 at 4:49 am

Can we adjust the handle bar height without having to buy a separate height piece?

  46. Sumin Shizzles on October 7, 2020 at 4:49 am

Next up is how to get food to your mouth by raising your hands to your mouth. That title of yours is something else.

  47. Deserthi on October 7, 2020 at 4:50 am

I had to do the same thing on my Surly Midnight Special gravel bike. I wanted to use Jones H Bars and Jones says that the bars should be at the same height as the seat. I used this exact method but if there is a better way, more safe or whatever I would like to know. I like it much more because I now have 4 different hand positions. One position is the same as drop bar when your on the hoods. When I had drop bars I almost never used the low position so was almost alway on the hoods.

Does all handle height extender come in same size, mine bike is Firefox aluminium 2.0, so will it fit in properly?

  49. b kinseb on October 7, 2020 at 4:51 am

shorter stem buy like a 45mm length stem is all you need.

  50. sten beetlex on October 7, 2020 at 4:52 am

Dutch type tall handlebars are the best, if made in machined aluminum style modern design it will look just aa cool as any modern cycle.
