    Motor cutoff when stopped pedaling
Which It always did but halfway through a short ride after it cutout it would take around 15 seconds to kick back in, dropping the speed from 26 in pas 5 down to 15 before it kicked back in. Never had this happen before, maybe the engine cutoff in the breaks was still engaged? I restarted it then it seemed to be fine. Wouldnt think it was overheating, it started after I was hauling ass down a hill and the motor cut off at 28, but today was a cool day. Anyone have experience with this happening?

  3. TheAx504 on November 30, 2022 at 7:16 am

Great video ….. Thanks! Did you take the kickstand off for the off roading or was it high enough not to drag? I have the black XP 2.00 on order.

  4. Bhargav Reddy on November 30, 2022 at 7:17 am

How will the oil shocks perform in winter conditions? Will the suspension cease because the oil might freeze solid?

  5. RayRay on November 30, 2022 at 7:20 am

Wow, that’s amazing that they can go off-road, but would going off-road void the warranty?

  6. Ardent Drops on November 30, 2022 at 7:22 am

After taxes & shipping it cost me around $1070. I hope it’s worth it.

  7. Grouchy Dude on November 30, 2022 at 7:22 am

I was actually thinking of getting a Super73. After this review…. now I want THIS bike! It’s almost as fast but is $2000 less….

  8. Randy Sanchez on November 30, 2022 at 7:25 am

Is there a way to exceed 20mph? I notice he said 25mph.
    Thanks

  9. clifwilks on November 30, 2022 at 7:26 am

it’s rated a Class 2 bike (which is 20 mph capable) after you make the adjustment for 28 mph capable it’s considered a Class 3 bike….a lot of places are rated Class 2 so you have no worries wherever you are….nice video.

  10. mixflip on November 30, 2022 at 7:27 am

That stem looks too long to be riden off road without flex or worse….bending or breaking that long stem.

  11. EX0stasis on November 30, 2022 at 7:28 am

It actually ships as a class 2 ebike, but after the settings changes that you mentioned it converts it to a class 3 ebike.

  12. jesse on November 30, 2022 at 7:34 am

Also make the metal baskets lighter using a lighter metal

  13. jesse on November 30, 2022 at 7:34 am

Make baskets to put inside of the metal racks for the bike so things don’t fall out

  14. Brash Adventures on November 30, 2022 at 7:36 am

Thanks for the review! I had a 1.0 XP on order and was able to upgrade to the 2.0 Step Thru. Hopefully they ship soon and I get it within a month.

  15. Jerome on November 30, 2022 at 7:37 am

I have a question how much room is it between the step through tube. I want to mount a 4in child seat rack that goes on the main tube but it looks like it will be a close fit ?

I do think a lot of Lectic’s success comes from using the public’s money to finance their business. If Lectic actually had to put up all the cash they probably wouldn’t be in business. And now that they’ve actually increased the bottom line on their balance sheets, they could probably get business loans and lines of credit, but they still continue to charge customers credit cards up front (interest-free) and make them wait four+ months for the bikes. However wonderful the bikes are, it’s a horrible business model, and people are getting wise to this and canceling orders, and negative comments (the truth) is spreading pretty quickly.

Lectic still continues to provide excellent customer service to the reviewers, giving them bikes to try for free in exchange for reviews. Normally companies would have to hire advertising companies, and here again they get free advertising via YouTube as and as far as I know they don’t allow the reviewers to keep the bikes. They just get a sneak preview so to speak of the product.

If you want to look at how to start a business with little money, just look at Lectic. Take money to finance your business upfront from your customers, provide a product to use and sample from select customers in exchange of actually putting money out for advertising, and create a Facebook page ( more free advertising) and you’re off to the races.

John Q Public is pretty stupid though and has no idea they are really being hosed and taken advantage of. I suspect as long as people allow this to happen, Lectic will prosper. They have over 50 employees and growing.

And a lot of this is self-perpetuating. People who are doing these YouTube videos are getting recognition, and some are actually selling products or setting up affiliate links for a small profit. It grooms peoples egos. So, Lectic continues to grow. And in some cases even negative comments are positive as it draws more attention to the company.

So all I can say, is be aware of what kind of company you are subsidizing. China’s GDP will surpass United States as of 2022. Lectric is in a sense a glorified drop shipper. Anybody can contact a China company and provide specs, and the company will build em, but a stock Lectic or very similar product can be found from a number of Chinese vendors.

So, should we be proud of this business model? Is this the kind of American company we all want?

  17. Miles Dunbar on November 30, 2022 at 7:39 am

I just ordered one and I freaking love it I take my old one to my deer blind to go hunting and I ride it to school everyday

  18. Juan J Vargas on November 30, 2022 at 7:39 am

great video brother keep going. ordered my XP 2.0 but waiting time is nuts. worth the wait tho.

  19. Richard Topalovich on November 30, 2022 at 7:40 am

Has anyone compared 4inch tire and the 3inch in deep sand? Seems the 4’s wider foot print would afford better traction.

  20. Tracy Davis on November 30, 2022 at 7:40 am

I have two on order! Why do I not see your videos in my sub feed! Grrr.

  21. Steve Verweyst on November 30, 2022 at 7:40 am

    Drive Safe 🤣

  23. Boster on November 30, 2022 at 7:41 am

Nothing said on the new oil forks or controller

  24. Jeff Bernstein on November 30, 2022 at 7:41 am

I ordered the step through a month ago. Did I miss your helmet recommendation or do you recommend a baseball cap worn backwards for complete head protection?

  25. Saddletramp1200 on November 30, 2022 at 7:42 am

Hi, I have had my 2.0 XP a week now. This is a fantastic bike. the 4 month wait was worth it.

  26. Barbara Dellis on November 30, 2022 at 7:45 am

    Love the DriveSafe cameo…

  27. DuneTV1 on November 30, 2022 at 7:46 am

I think every video is better with Kung FU fighting at 12:23 lol good stuff

  28. Tom L on November 30, 2022 at 7:47 am

Great review, thanks! I did have a question though. Is the throttle variable speed? Can I control the speed, with or without assist, uphill on a rather precarious surface logging road? I don’t want to go fast, I need to be in control. Thank you

  29. Edward Love on November 30, 2022 at 7:48 am

    Where’s the helmets boys?

  30. Jacklyn Cramton on November 30, 2022 at 7:48 am

    $999 for Xp 2.0

  31. Orv Judd on November 30, 2022 at 7:49 am

    Correction, $999.0 dollars

  32. Georgig Washington on November 30, 2022 at 7:49 am

Lectric is good but the frame is very poor weak. I would rather pay a few hundred more and get sondors fold x.

  33. Leonard Foster on November 30, 2022 at 7:49 am

The worse key location to have, the rest is pretty good.

  34. David Moore on November 30, 2022 at 7:50 am

    👍🏼

  35. Lori Lange on November 30, 2022 at 7:51 am

I love them bikes they looks so durable and comfortable the seat is really nice!! I love the baskets ….

  36. EmBee on November 30, 2022 at 7:51 am

I have one and LOVE it! Best money I ever spent. The bike is responsive, agile and handles sidewalks, streets and some occasional light off-road action with no problem. The suspension is awesome; no more aching wrists and sore forearms. My new daily driver. A seriously good bike.

  37. Bernie Contreras on November 30, 2022 at 7:52 am

The bikes are 999 not 899 great video 👍🏼

  38. Joyce Hill on November 30, 2022 at 7:53 am

  39. Aduin Smokesomuch on November 30, 2022 at 7:54 am

  40. Corey Zeth on November 30, 2022 at 7:55 am

Where did you film this? Looks like a great place to ride.

  41. The Nanny on November 30, 2022 at 7:57 am

These bikes are $999 not $899 as stated in video

  42. Louis Tucker on November 30, 2022 at 7:58 am

This is the best video review of the Lectric on the web!!!

  43. F1eldsOfDreams808 on November 30, 2022 at 8:03 am

I’m stuck between the Leftric 2.0 XP, swagtron Eb-6, Nakto mini cruiser and Pedego fat tire element.

  44. Jeff Tober on November 30, 2022 at 8:05 am

Great video guys . Getting 1 soon.

  45. Edward Morley on November 30, 2022 at 8:07 am

thought the front shocks were springs not oil.?

  46. Mind Blowing on November 30, 2022 at 8:07 am

I ordered one on april 3 and upgraded it on may 13 and im still waiting on it. It taking forever

  47. Pia Lee on November 30, 2022 at 8:08 am

I was curious as to how well they folded with the baskets on them, looks like they are not very compact, so that is a consideration. They are now $999, which I still think is a good deal.

  48. NATESOR on November 30, 2022 at 8:09 am

FYI: all Lectric bikes ship as class 2. There is a sticker on them that says they are class 2 and you can point to that if a cop pulls you over. Only through going into the settings can you unlock class 3 mode.

  49. Mickster on November 30, 2022 at 8:09 am

looks like a lot of fun. they don’t appear to have a lot of hilltopping torque but still a lot of bike for the price. i think the step thru looks pretty cool with the white and blue.

  50. j E on November 30, 2022 at 8:09 am

What would be the benefit of getting the step through versus the standard? I get the lower step but is there any other advantage?
