once again ur video’s are very helpful.. you do fully kinda look like Ellen Degeneres but could be worse certainly…

I stopped by your store in Newbury Park the other day.. checked it out bought some ergon grips.. I’m looking at swapping the bars on my bike as I need / want more rise considering those Spank Spoon 40mm risers.. probably going to order them from y’all shortly..

    anyways.. like the video

    cheers.

Ellen wishes she were you! Love these videos… Good content and hilarious. Kind of reminds me of Scott Galloway’s approach to talking about the stock market, etc. Keep it up!

  12. Sparks 701 on July 12, 2019 at 12:05 am

Love my deity skyline 787’s. Reasonably priced aluminum bar.

  13. LifeBehindBars MTB on July 12, 2019 at 12:07 am

Nukeproof horizon carbon bars 800mm wide 38 mm rise. 9 upsweep 6 back sweep. Under $100 couldn’t beat it and they feel great.

  14. Mirek Hajduk on July 12, 2019 at 12:09 am

Ape hangers are my fave by far

  15. S lopez on July 12, 2019 at 12:10 am

There’s flex on some bars. The RaceFace make nice handlebars. The Crank’s flexed too much, making for an uncomfortable ride. Carbon’s nice, but not worth the price unless you’re going pro.

  16. Steve_ DH on July 12, 2019 at 12:11 am

I’m using a 800 with Tuvativ handlebar with 20 mm rise

  17. Leesyooj85 on July 12, 2019 at 12:13 am

    RaceFace Next R 800mm 🤘

  18. Brad Metzgar on July 12, 2019 at 12:14 am

All 760mm wide and 20mm rise….Santa Cruz carbon, 35mm on my Mission Pro
Raceface Six C carbon, 35mm on my Trek Top Fuel
Truvativ Jerome Clementz carbon, 31.8mm on my Marin hardtail

  19. Daegan Patterson on July 12, 2019 at 12:19 am

    I don’t use handlebars

I am trying to lighting up my DH bike I purchased this last year. It’s used , but was very well kept up. It still has some of the original components and part’s. It’s the first DH MTB I’ve bought or really rode. Being I’m lil older , like I just mentioned, I’d like to lighting up. It’s a Giant Glory DH . I’ve been looking at those renthals u were show casing. Need a lil more ideas .

  25. MTBC-TRAILS MIHAJLOVIC on July 12, 2019 at 12:24 am

Haha you do look like her 🙂 nice one

  26. Parker Ritter on July 12, 2019 at 12:25 am

I was wondering if a new cockpit has to be specific for you bike. I am considering upgrading my bar, grips and stem. Does the stem have to be a certain diameter to fit your frame tube? I was looking at the Atlas riser 35 bars but not sure what rise to go with in the 35mm. Also I was looking at a aeffect r rf stem and a response rf stem with around a 45 mm length with some ergon grips or other grips but not sure how to deal with the specs with fitting bar. Could you help complete the setup?

  29. John Mutter on July 12, 2019 at 12:28 am

Ever had any experience or feedback on Titanium bars ?
    Entertaining vid 👍

  30. generationfourth on July 12, 2019 at 12:28 am

if you’re a true nerd go for the SQLab 12° or 16° backsweep. 7-9° is lame

  31. Jonathan Vasquez on July 12, 2019 at 12:29 am

I’m using an Easton Haven carbon hb w/31.8 clamping. What do u think of it? Ty

  32. brett clark on July 12, 2019 at 12:33 am

"A Top 5 Carbon MTB handlebars" AND a "Top 5 Aluminum MTB handlebars" would have been preferable. People usually stick to material type so it’s tuning the answer finer

  33. James Lines on July 12, 2019 at 12:34 am

Nice video, I’m riding the raceface sixC carbon DH 35 bars in a 820mm width. Awesome handlebars

  34. Tom Primrose on July 12, 2019 at 12:36 am

What handle bar should I go for.. I have race face atlas 35 raiser with 8 degree bag sweep. my problem is that my wrists hurt slightly and I would need greater back sweep. Any suggestions ?

  43. Γιώργος Γκασνάκης on July 12, 2019 at 12:41 am

  44. Marc on July 12, 2019 at 12:42 am

    Race Face Sixc!

  45. Esteban Rápido on July 12, 2019 at 12:43 am

Are you going to dance for us? Not that it’s enjoyable to watch Ellen dance either.

  46. Robert Lauber on July 12, 2019 at 12:43 am

The renthal demo clip looks like a trail in southern Cali; would you be willing to tell me where if so? I am new to the area as well as the sport and am looking for trails. Thanks! And great content!

  47. Willem Desmond on July 12, 2019 at 12:44 am

Is there a noticeable difference in feel between carbon and aluminum bars? I have 725 mm raceface SixC carbon bars but looking to try out a 780 mm width, but I’d rather not spend ~$150 on carbon bars.

  48. weedfreer on July 12, 2019 at 12:45 am

is there such a thing as a ‘dual backsweep’ bar…i.e. one that starts out as backsweep of angle ‘x’ and then sweeps back further still at angle ‘y’ from around the inner most extent of the grip towards the outer limit of the bar?

Getting older I find that the straightness of a bar does not sit right in my hands…I get the feeling that the outer extremes of the bar would sit better being swept back at least a little further than the initial angle

  49. Blake Carlson on July 12, 2019 at 12:46 am

Chromag Fubar OSX is my go-to bar. Lightweight for aluminum, and plenty stiff.

  50. MasterShredder on July 12, 2019 at 12:50 am

thanks for this video. It was the "riding footage" that really helped me make the decision.
