Mountain Biking in Duluth Minnesota was surprisingly great
Earlier this month I passed through Minnesota on a trip to visit Park Tool Company. I decided to visit the city of Duluth in the hopes of finding good mountain biking, and I’m really glad I did. Sure, Duluth has a reputation and I thought it would be good, but it was better than good.
In this video, I’ll tell you some of the reasons why.
I live in Duluth we have about 100 miles of trail
more Minnesota!
who else is still watching this vid even after 2 years
i love duluth
Anyone passing through there’s much more to Duluth and area nowadays. Same with further north another lift access park called giants ridge. If you have your passport 45 minutes past the border is thunder Bay with tons of great riding
Alright! armstrong falcons for the win!
I live in Duluth and I started biking again after a 15-year hiatus because there are so many trails here to ride. The Duluth Traverse, a 40+ mile trail spanning the city, is a bucket list ride
Had to like this before I even started. Just went to Giants Ridge MN and it kicked my ass… Yeah it’s not easy even if you are used to regular trails. I was worn out in three runs and happy the lift broke. If you think that is all that’s in MN I would invite you to Theodore Worth Park less than 5 miles from my house. It has enough to keep anyone excited.
As a Eagan local, Duluth is cool but then whytards there are racist af.
That’s spirit mountain
I’m a local there, those trails are so sick. The jump trails are built very well and the tech is really janky
Minnesotans are the best dontchaknow?
If you’d consider coming to Michigan the trails here are endless… if you check out our channel you will see stuff in the Grand Rapids area and our backyard jump line, that you inspired us to build… if you ever come to MI feel free to message we would kill to show you MI’s best trails
Hummm. Death Trap Trails.
THEY might be nice, but never trust "Minnesota nice"
You should check out copper harbor michigan. If you want more in the Great Lakes region
I’m way late on this, but….wow. I never would have expected Minnesota to have trails like this. I guess I should know better after spending several years living in Arkansas. Adding MN to the map of places I need to ride.
You have got to ride some of the iron range trails, cuyuna, Tioga, red head, and giants ridge are the best!!
That gave away my secret trails
I haven’t mountained biked in Duluth but I hope I can in the future we were up there with some snowmobile and it was amazing
Here’s a big shout out to http://www.coggs.com for building and maintaining the trails in Duluth! Their website has a lot of great info on the trail systems in the area, so check them out if you’re heading that way.
too bad it sucks ass in the winter
"Yet, I doubt any of it will be as exciting as watching beginners get better."
This.
Did you ride the puker at spirit mountain
Duluth is one of my favorite places.
4:14 I’M GONNA SHOW THIS KID UP… guess not
They could have a lot to offer Seth a lot
Holy shit; mwhen you met Adam and Tate i did a double take cause my name is also Tate lmfao
Next time you come here go to Cayuna Lakes Regional park it’s built around old mining lakes in Crosby, MN
Copper harbor, michigan, seth!
If you ever go back you should go to silver lake park in wisconsin, really fun single track for a high school team ride out
Try hawk ridge
Watching all vids
Seth you are Amazing for all you do for the sport.
Seth, you gotta come to Marquette and Copper Harbor Michigan!
I raced at that park! It was so muddy and insane that day
Great video. Sooo…. it’s 4 years later. When are you checking out Michigan? Marquette and Copper Harbor should be the top two spots on your list, but there’s a dozen other good places too. If you time it right, there’s even a mountain bike race that goes THROUGH an underground copper mine, at the Adventure Mine in Greenland MI.
Yo Seth…probably a strange question but I live In Duluth and I was wondering if you remember where you had that pizza at the end of the video. It looks great!
As a Minnesotan evening you said is true
what will it take to get you to ride Iowa?
Minnesota represent
YESSS, YAAA, OOOOOO
Broke my rib on spirit mountain this year, it was my first time at a bike park bur I can’t wait to go back
If you’re in Duluth try split rock it has been deemed the hardest Trail in Minnesota
You should check out copper harbor michigan. If you want more in the Great Lakes region
I fucking love mn so much. just don’t tell people how amazing it is, they are invited to ride here, but then they have to go home :*)
