Luna Cycle Milan X5 Wireless Ebike Laser Rear Light

Luna Cycle Milan X5 Wireless Ebike Laser Rear Light

You can find the product here: http://lunacycle.com/extras/lights/x5-rear-light-w-laser/

This is one of our favorite rear lights because it is wireless…. no wires whatsoever which will reduce wiring clutter which is one of our least favorite parts about ebikes…the wiring mess.

I think the turn signals should be able to operate on their own with no red rear light, as the brighter red distracts you from the dimmer orange.

  2. Abhishek Kumar on July 21, 2019 at 12:38 am

ye flipcart pe available hai light

  3. Andrei Petrea on July 21, 2019 at 12:38 am

    Honestly ?
    It’s a crap !
Who needs after turning left or right the light first to flash and after that to stay solid .
So instead of paying attention to the street you have to look the buttons from remote !

No tanks , I prefer old fashion hand signal !
This way at least you’re not risking you life looking at a crap remote

  4. David Ross miller on July 21, 2019 at 12:39 am

There is another company that makes one similar but the blinkers are much more noticable, that’s the one I just sent for.

  5. Keith Elman on July 21, 2019 at 12:40 am

Unfortunately, the turn signal is confusing. In use, it looks like just a fancy light pattern. There is a reason cars and motorcycles are manufactured with simple / clear turn indicators. On a bicycle, this is even more of a necessity. I would not want to gamble my or my child’s life on this confusing indicating device. In this case, simple IS better.

  6. mark caine on July 21, 2019 at 12:41 am

Christ, people just want indicators to tell other road users they are going to turn right or left anything else is just pointless and only adds cost to the gadget.

  7. Vampiszon on July 21, 2019 at 12:42 am

Would never use indicators on my bike, ALWAYS use your hand. Also, another thing cluttering the handlebar

  8. Hung Pham on July 21, 2019 at 12:42 am

can this hold on the bike rack ?

  10. Dennis Ritter on July 21, 2019 at 12:44 am

them turn signal could confuse a driver and you could get hit

Obviously, those that list the negatives are only happy with the brand-name lights and the fancy packaging. That’s all ya get for the super-inflated prices ($50.00, for a taillight!!? Yet the product cost less than five dollars to manufacture). I buy my "Cheap," lights from Amazon (the only way to save money as bike shops are retardedly[political correct word?] over-priced). I recently purchased a no-name brand 150 lumen red-blue safety light for about $14.00. Super bright. And vehicles always give me plenty of space on my evening ride to work. The only negative: No fancy graphics on the packaging. Just a small plain cardboard box.

  14. monkeh88 on July 21, 2019 at 12:54 am

come one guys , the turn signals should be blinking and not like knight rider

  15. markstos on July 21, 2019 at 12:57 am

Wait, so did KITT from Knight Rider have his right turn signal stuck on? I thought the light pulsing back and forth was just there to let you know there was a badass AI under the hood.

  17. dpajc056 on July 21, 2019 at 12:58 am

The lasers are good, only the turn signal is confusing as hell, doesn’t work in my opinion

  18. Jason Miller on July 21, 2019 at 12:59 am

Why don’t they make the laser lights on the ground also turn signals along with the one under the seat turn signals? Like a laser turn signal arrow on the ground!

  19. R. P. on July 21, 2019 at 1:00 am

Abgesehen davon, dass kein Autofahren das Abbiegen als Abbiegen interpretieren wird, nette Idee!

    Can I get one ?
    Where ?

  22. ConspiracyTub on July 21, 2019 at 1:01 am

Guys the turn signal isn’t working on the video because it must have been recorded in a lower framerate to the player

  23. doncinos on July 21, 2019 at 1:02 am

what about signals, they turn off automatic? like for example after couple sec???

  24. F M on July 21, 2019 at 1:02 am

Must be made in China because with those turn signals you are sure to be under a bus at night when the driver has no idea which way your turning. Very confusing signal .

  25. Ramet in Dallas on July 21, 2019 at 1:02 am

The buttons look too small for gloved fingers.

  26. Jason Black on July 21, 2019 at 1:03 am

I wish manufacturers of this and other similar rear tail lights for bikes and ebikes would consider making available a horizontal mount version (or include an adapter). My wife and I have ebikes but we carry a bike trailer each. We would like to be able to mount these kinds of lights on the horizontal bar on the back of our trailers. We can mount these to either side, which kind of works but it offsets the laser and makes the laser kind of useless. or at least less useful. Perhaps someone knows a trick to mount these on the back of trailers in the centre. if you do know a trick, please let me know Thank you!

Gotta make everyone cycling behind me watch this video to understand what the f**ck all that light show is about!

  29. Esteban Vega on July 21, 2019 at 1:12 am

    1. Turn signals Confusing due to departure point.
    2. flasher out of timepace or slow motion.
    3. control over to much funtionality… many clicks to setup.!
    4. ergonomics of control, it can be improve.!

  32. Bernd Kobsa on July 21, 2019 at 1:15 am

Nicht zu gebrauchen, Accu hält nach 5 Std. aufladen nicht mal eine halbe Stunde durch.

  33. Igor Smolovski on July 21, 2019 at 1:15 am

Relying on this light to indicate your turns will get you killed. Use hand signals, FFS! No driver will recognize what you got there blinking under your @ss.

  34. Luffy Ro on July 21, 2019 at 1:16 am

hello can i cooperate with you?

  35. Old Bloke on July 21, 2019 at 1:17 am

Much too complicated and because it is mounted under your backside, you cannot see what is happening and there is minimal feedback to the controller. Without accurate feedback telling the rider exactly what the lights are really doing, I believe this could seriously mislead the following traffic as to the rider’s intentions and so would be dangerous to all concerned.

  36. Nick Edens on July 21, 2019 at 1:18 am

Does the power on off on the Remote work the same as the one on the light its self or do u still haft to go back and turn it on when your ready

It is good but the light’s direction is not clear

  40. Jayden Yang on July 21, 2019 at 1:21 am

Does it also indicate when you brake?

  41. lvilliankriss on July 21, 2019 at 1:21 am

Omg. Thanks a million. I lost the directions and didnt know about the tiny little power button on the light itself. Lol

  42. Ross Best on July 21, 2019 at 1:23 am

*I like it BUT the turn signal is not very recognizable.. Too hard to differenciate the left or right. Needs minor improvements. Maybe change this a bit Id be interested. MORE DISTINCT TURN SIGNALS PLEASE*

  43. Kriss Legrand on July 21, 2019 at 1:24 am

I got me one. But i hate one thing, it goes off 10s after i turned it on. I know about the sensor to be covered. I did cover the sensor, but it keeps going off 10s only after i switch it on. What can I really do to have this device permanently on when i am on the road? Please help, before frustration makes me brake it

  44. The Stig2701 on July 21, 2019 at 1:25 am

If anyone wants to know these cost ( U.K about £39.99 U.S proberbly about $55 or so. But, do check around. SADLY NOT available on WISH. I know I already checked. Available on AMAZON ,E-BAY & proberbly a very few other online sites ( That’s upto yourselves to look if you want to) & MAYBE a extremely VERY FEW!!! direct outlet shops/ stores. It seems better made than other smaller designed & much cheaper types had no turn signals on it. The rear lights & tramline laser was.. ( mounts became very week within about 3months or so & had to temporary reinforce the mount. But, eventually i took it off as it was getting on my nerves wobbling about. ( another words it gave up totally on it’s cheaply designed mount in the end.) So, I am very keen to see what other people think of it’s mount quality as well as the rest of the unit. NO-ONE has said so YET!!! Or I haven’t found anyone saying so about it. 😊

  45. Gadget Addict on July 21, 2019 at 1:28 am

Clever technology but I don’t think anyone behind you would understand the intended signal.

  46. Husi Balázs on July 21, 2019 at 1:29 am

I’ve used such a rear light for a long time.
I really like it, it has a good light. But it’s not waterproof! The water penetrates of the lamp body, the bottom holes where the laser is located, and the slots of the plastics.
My lamp leaked several times (2x). Then i disassemble the body and take out the battery. Then drying for 1-2 days. The remote control works well.

Must the red light be on that the Right, Left Flash works?

  48. Jeff Jones on July 21, 2019 at 1:33 am

Turn signals no person on earth will recognize!

  49. Mark Loren Fahey on July 21, 2019 at 1:34 am

  50. Philipp Blum on July 21, 2019 at 1:34 am

A solid right or left would be better
