    Dr. What about the bread?

  2. paul helman on January 4, 2023 at 1:46 am

There is Cephalon phase of insulin production as well. So just looking at a plate of doughnuts will raise insulin level as well as cause salivation.

Artificial sweeteners are not a healthy option! Stay away from all of them.

  6. KaseyTheSleepTech on January 4, 2023 at 1:51 am

I was more excited for a low carb lifestyle because I knew I could have sugar free products that still tasted sweet. So it wasn’t so hard to make the change. Now, I have a lot I’ll have to re-learn.

  7. torn_masterpiece on January 4, 2023 at 1:53 am

Chomps meat sticks (turkey or beef) are sugar free.

  8. Stephen Williams on January 4, 2023 at 1:54 am

I probably should have also included that I incorporate ‘Intermittent Fasting’ with a 5 hour Eating Window of from 3-8 pm. Twice a week I might end the eating with one of those Bars.

  9. Todd Birge on January 4, 2023 at 1:54 am

thank you for the information.i am a very picky eater, what are some healthy low carb snacks.i dont eat eggs???

  10. CholoHD on January 4, 2023 at 1:58 am

Tips: Be specially aware of Almond flour as it can really jump up in carbs if you buy the wrong brand. Also it is possible to find like Peanut butter with very little carbs if you search for it. Alternatives like Almond butter & lupin flour can also be really low carb (but more expensive or like lupin have a really strong taste). Also even thou making you own "sweets" yourself like icescream it is still possible to get some low carb items like whipped cream on a can & pre-cooked bacon too.

    "Cephalic"

Always enjoy your videos, such a good delivery style. I have been having low carb sweet snacks that use Allulose or Monk Fruit and do not use the other sweeteners that you pictured in your video, Equal, Sweet & Low and Splenda, and NEVER Aspartame. I am 100% NO Sugar and don’t have any cravings for desserts so don’t think having this sweetness affects my desire for switching back to real sugar.. So, if using these sweet snacks from time to time (Munk Pack – Keto Nut & Seed Bar – Sea Salt Dark Chocolate), am I in danger of not being able to achieve Ketosis? Thanks.

Dr Becky always enjoy your video, subscriber here. I was surprised you don’t mention Dark Cacao Chocolate. I eat 70 to 85% bars to satisfy my sweet tooth. Ty

I recently found you on You Tube, and I’m enjoying learning from you. I’m in good health and pretty good shape for my age (in my 60’s). I still prefer sweet snacks over savory. Can you address having snacks occasionally made with Monk fruit, or stevia?

  15. Justin Green on January 4, 2023 at 2:01 am

You look like a low carb, low fat, tasty snack. 🙂

  16. W Dao on January 4, 2023 at 2:03 am

Ok but how much eggs can a person handle per day. Eggs breakfast and eggs snacks. 😞

  17. Beau Peep on January 4, 2023 at 2:04 am

Those low carb snacks will derail my diet every time 😒…. its just best for me not to even try that road!

  18. James Payne on January 4, 2023 at 2:04 am

There was an interesting little documentary on the effects of simply tasting sweetness on the tongue. Could probably find it on YouTube if anyone’s interested. One of those Science channel/ Discovery channel things.

  19. Mary D D on January 4, 2023 at 2:04 am

Except I am sick of eggs!

  21. Lorena McGovern on January 4, 2023 at 2:06 am

15 years on keto has taught me to stay away from bars and shakes of all kinds. If I make myself an occasional goody I only make one serving because I will always eat it all .

  22. SultanATL on January 4, 2023 at 2:07 am

Why was i craving a pear 🍐 when i came home from work today? I didn’t eat anything because of it. Everything else seemed gross. There was a Indian rice i don’t know what it was called but i had a strong urge to eat specifically a pear and nothing else.

  23. Linda Biggs on January 4, 2023 at 2:07 am

    I want a cream cake, 😬

  29. James California on January 4, 2023 at 2:17 am

Raw sugar snap peas, radishes and string beans. A crunchy snack low in carbohydrates and calories. 😉👌

  30. Tabitha Yandersits on January 4, 2023 at 2:17 am

I’m a new subscriber and find you very inspiring! I have a question about eggs…how many are too many? I eat 3 every morning so I’ve been afraid to use them for snacking then later in the day.

Why don’t you show us what we can eat. Not show us what we can’t eat.

  33. Spirit Flower on January 4, 2023 at 2:21 am

I appreciate your very informative videos… thank you! I am wondering about digestibility of raw nuts. I understand the thinking behind nuts that are salted and roasted, increasing hunger/cravings… but do you suggest soaking raw nuts to make them easier on the digestion and gut?

  34. Adrienne Dunne on January 4, 2023 at 2:23 am

Is it ok to toast your own seeds and nuts?

  35. RobbeyT on January 4, 2023 at 2:24 am

I thought almonds were bad for you in that they contain loads of Omega 6, I maybe wrong.

  36. M. M on January 4, 2023 at 2:26 am

Thank you so much…we learning so much from you

  37. Debz on January 4, 2023 at 2:26 am

Absolutely brilliant, watching from New Zealand with gratitude and respect.
Im going to reward myself with a piggy bank’ savings jar ….. Every time I don’t eat that slice of bread, crisps, chocolate, icecream etc, I will put $2 in my piggy bank. That way I can see how many times I have had a craving, and also use the savings I have made to buy better quality food.
Have a wonderful day friends, may the sun shine in your hearts always 💞🙏💞

The proteins in unnatural nutrients such as protein bars and powders are converted by the body into glucose for more than 80% because the amino acid mixup is incomplete. Only a very small fraction is used towards tissue build up. Perhaps it would be useful to dedicate a video to this subject.

Most of us who struggle with weight are in fact Carbohydrate/Sugar addicts, even though we don’t perceive that we could be hooked (its the Truth, like it or not). We crave sugar to make us "feel" better. So, if sugar is "natural" and comes from a plant, it stands to reason that Cocaine and Opium are also natual and ok to consume in small amounts, right? Don’t flirt with using sugar; wean yourself off by "using" less or avoiding completely. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

I like to add to this.. if you like to chew on something and at the same dont want to gein weight.. haring a low carb zweet snack is fine. As long as you are aware it stimulates you to start craving more. So be mindful🙏

  41. Cathy W on January 4, 2023 at 2:30 am

is Monk fruit ok to use as a sweetener? It has a glycemic index of zero.

  42. Matt, FL. Home Buyers on January 4, 2023 at 2:32 am

    Looking good🦊

  43. Louis on January 4, 2023 at 2:36 am

One of your best videos, thanks.

  44. Eadwine9 on January 4, 2023 at 2:37 am

I find raw nuts so boring and the texture is not pleasurable…when I snack I crave salt and crunch! especially the crunch…I love deluxe mixed nuts with sea salt….but again, high sodium content. these are good tips if you dont need to watch salt content, or in the case of rawnuts, if you can tolerate the bland factor. Also I would like to add beef sticks are highly processed. I dont think that is a good choice at all….especially since they dont come from grass fed humanely raised animals.

  45. Flower Girl on January 4, 2023 at 2:37 am

So strange to watch you video when a pepperoni pizza advertiser just popped up in the video. Yikes!

  46. paul helman on January 4, 2023 at 2:37 am

Use liquid sucralose. Easy to use and no m dextrin.

  47. John Cosgrove on January 4, 2023 at 2:38 am

    Why is salt a factor?

  48. Rita Harris on January 4, 2023 at 2:38 am

I have been on the Keto diet for over a year and now I am loosing the battle. I also have now begun to have a Histamine issue because of eating certain foods that are Keto friendly. I need a boost to my psyche and find I am so tired of cheese and nuts for snacks.
