  3. Jason Ng on November 19, 2022 at 5:31 am

Hello RideOfJapan!(: I love your cleaning videos and this may not really be related to cleaning shoes, but will wanna know if you have any tips on cleaning tan walls on road tyres?

  4. MOT0 s on November 19, 2022 at 5:31 am

The moment he said "after every ride" my shoes started to cry

  5. Eurobeatmachinist on November 19, 2022 at 5:31 am

And then there is me washing my mtb shoes from the caked mud by just dipping them in the river or swamp water🀣

  6. Jake May on November 19, 2022 at 5:32 am

Dollar store brush *from Japan*. Everything there is just designed better!

  7. Anthony Perry on November 19, 2022 at 5:33 am

TEAM DREAM! I’m wearing the same sweatshirt right now. πŸ™‚

  8. Duncan Baker on November 19, 2022 at 5:34 am

  9. hockysa on November 19, 2022 at 5:37 am

  10. Jan Ε unda on November 19, 2022 at 5:38 am

So you are not like me who have to buy new shoes with spd when on old one after 7 or 8 years of usage without any care sole fall of

  11. Martin Wifling on November 19, 2022 at 5:39 am

I need to tell everybody that the shoes have been black when he bought them. Just to let you know where this cleaning thing will get you!

  12. Greg on November 19, 2022 at 5:46 am

You need crep protection spray! I 100% recommend it. give your shoes a quick spray once a week, very good product but might add 0.1 grams

  13. Adam Ossowski on November 19, 2022 at 5:46 am

all your ‘filthy’ examples are super clean in my terms πŸ™‚

  14. Aruna Basnayake on November 19, 2022 at 5:48 am

Very useful – thank you. I especially like your shoe dryer – ordered the Iris Ohyama 760W unit from Amazon Japan!

  15. Dom 7 on November 19, 2022 at 5:49 am

Microfiber and Soap all you Need !!!
After every Ride i wipe over my Road7. and they are looking like Brand new.

  16. RideMTB_SF on November 19, 2022 at 5:49 am

When my mtb shoes get really muddy I throw them in the washing machine. It beats them up more than hand washing but is the only way I’ve found to actually get all the dirt out.

  17. Howard on November 19, 2022 at 5:50 am

    Or just get black shoes….

  18. S. MilArt on November 19, 2022 at 5:50 am

It’s always nice to see someone, who is even crazier than myself. I’m looking forward to every new video! πŸ˜‰πŸ‘

  19. Mircea Popescu on November 19, 2022 at 5:51 am

I just realized i actually never ever cleaned my bike shoes… hmmm. More priority goes on bike cleaning πŸ˜‡

  20. Road Glide on November 19, 2022 at 5:52 am

Sexy clean shoes. Because nice gear cost and most of us don’t get them for free.

  21. Kampeerwijzer on November 19, 2022 at 5:54 am

It’s a good thing I can’t post pictures here of my bike shoes. I probably need two of those pots with wipes and an high pressure water stream.

  22. Patrick Spensieri on November 19, 2022 at 5:54 am

In case you weren’t convinced that he’s gone mad 🌞

  23. chris Harrison on November 19, 2022 at 5:54 am

Just throw them in an agitator free washer and air dry with a fan.

  24. Reemer Feddes on November 19, 2022 at 5:58 am

I Just throw them in washing machine…

  25. sourcrowd on November 19, 2022 at 5:58 am

Always love some Japanese plastic products πŸ™‚

  27. eL pELoN de JaPoN on November 19, 2022 at 6:01 am

can’t believe I spent 7 and half minutes watching someone else cleaning his shoes πŸ˜… great tips except for the alcohol tissue. Not sure if that’s a thing to do because most of the wet tissue from 7/11 have a great portion of isopropyl alcohol.

  28. Maik DD on November 19, 2022 at 6:06 am

Why is it called sneaker shampoo if you could basically use it for any leather, fabric or rubber material?

  29. Rasmus Wiman on November 19, 2022 at 6:07 am

Have you tried those Silca wipes? I got one included in the box when I bought my Hirobel clamp. I tried it on the white bar tape on my 3T Exploro, and it definitely was a lot less white before I used it. Now I just need to figure out if someone sells them in Europe, or if I need to order from Silcas web site, shipping from the US is such a nightmare these days…

  30. Pete Reynolds on November 19, 2022 at 6:07 am

    Neat freak! Hahaha! Love it!

  31. Larison Johnson on November 19, 2022 at 6:08 am

Positivity from the mundane. I’ve just used a wet rag, if anything. Might be time to level up!

  32. Siopao.Sauce on November 19, 2022 at 6:10 am

    What a throwback.

  33. Mike Foster on November 19, 2022 at 6:11 am

Solution – don’t wear white cycling shoes
The time you spend cleaning them is better spent riding

  34. Ric Liang on November 19, 2022 at 6:11 am

This video reinforced why I ride with black shoes. I’ll pour my love out elsewhere

  35. Neil Garlick on November 19, 2022 at 6:12 am

I’m worried they will smell if they get wet? can I dry them in an airing cupboard as I’m worried direct heat from a hair dryer will distort them?

And do you think baby shampoo could be better than dishwashing liquid – not quite as abrasive?

    Great video!

  36. TH cycling on November 19, 2022 at 6:12 am

    Loved the end 🀣

  37. Boucha Boucha on November 19, 2022 at 6:13 am

Looking for Ultegra 6800 levers. Can you recommend a shop in Japan?

  38. daniel Kremer on November 19, 2022 at 6:14 am

Wet wipes are extremely environmentally unfriendly unless they are biodegradable, so is that sponge

  39. Marc Daniel on November 19, 2022 at 6:16 am

    Hilarious πŸ˜‚

  40. Malcolm Hedges on November 19, 2022 at 6:20 am

An occasional cleat lube ? I like to use a car vinyl cleaner on the black bottoms of my shoes (them silver ones) to bring that area up πŸ™‚

  41. Tom Cruz on November 19, 2022 at 6:20 am

Hnnnnggg dat FOOTage. This isn’t helping with my lusting-for-s-phyres problem

  42. ciproxin1 on November 19, 2022 at 6:21 am

  43. David on November 19, 2022 at 6:21 am

    Pure chillout bliss

  44. Tom Russell on November 19, 2022 at 6:22 am

How can I get that Bonsai cap? I have checked several sites and didn’t find any source. Great video as usual.

  45. Rocket on November 19, 2022 at 6:22 am

Would love to see a helmet clean next

  46. Samuel Maina on November 19, 2022 at 6:23 am

Gloves men, gloves! Can’t be handling sapphires on bear hands, you’ll contaminate them.

  47. Matt Shaw on November 19, 2022 at 6:24 am

Cleaning bikes and bike stuff is basically therapy.

  48. haroon420 on November 19, 2022 at 6:25 am

Love the content but if you allow me to criticise something, I think you should try and find an alternative to using wipes (due to environmental factors) for such mundane stuff.

  49. milan4ever on November 19, 2022 at 6:26 am

    Cool shoes

  50. JLA on November 19, 2022 at 6:28 am
