I’ve had a pair of wide 402’s for years. Not wide enough, but very comfortable. I’m currently on Bont vaypor’s in double wide. Still not wide enough and less roomy than the Lakes. I’d like to try the Lake 201. I like white shoes, but don’t know how the knitted parts will look after a few wet rides.

This customer has to be happy you took a shot and it paid off. I take a 6E shoe, but my bunion is on the outside of the foot. I tried the CX301 a few years back and ran into the same problem with not enough give to the upper, and the outside of my sole would "spill" over enough to actually cause my ankles to roll towards the outside. I’m now on the CX238 shoe. This has mesh just at the right spot and the sole is actually wider than the 301 so the spill is much less. This is why we love Lake shoes so much for having several models within the "wide" category.
