So you did this series to just have an excuse to have a new bike
holy crap i could never justify spending 15 grand on a bike but whatever floats your boat i guess.
i was watching his videos after this one and he has become more of a bike snob.
still love the content though
Replace the Fox shox with a Rockshox deluxe one.
If you like jumps you should have bought Knolly… Best ride of my life.
If you have problems the fix all solution is more travel
Bro can buy a new car with that money
You know your Stuff !
Ride a hard tail and will not bottom out. Lol
You need to do on the seat
Bro stole the whole intro and even the damn song from Donut Media Hi Low
When it comes to the joy of riding there have been very few innovations in the las fifty years that i personally feel increase my pleasure when riding .
1- front suspension
2- bigger tires
3- hydraulic brakes
4- dropper seat post and not necessarily in that order .
Aluminum still suits me just fine . i have zero interest in carbon , wireless shifting and rear suspension . okflame away oys ๐ฅ๐
That music from the 80s made my eyes wet .
They are different in every aspect . I like aluminum .
If u want better Break Power, use the Magura MDR-P Brake Disk with Trickstuff oder Galfer Brake Padยดs. Better then the Sram Diskยดs
Wait this is donut media๐
Anyone else here watch garand thumb
Ha! It really does not matter what you ride as long as you ride. Just ride and stop geeking out on equipment for god sakes. $15K? How ridiculous. Really ridiculous. This stuff is only for the "creator" community. Good lord!
NO!
$15.000 grand the end.
Take all the parts left over from upgrading high bike and build a complete second bike, sell it and lower the cost of high bike!
4k all show and no go ๐
is not is dummp
I love watching youtubers living my dream for some reason
Now youโve moved way out of my range and my interest is quickly decreasing. I donโt know where you are going with all this?
$15k for a bike stresses me out, plz sell asap lol
I have the same bike. Try a shock token in the rear. I’m 150-155lbs and I use the .8" token, which is the second from the biggest one, and ride with 160 psi in the shock. I beat on the bike hard and I get both no bottoming out and nice small bump compliance.
HI wonderful man, my best advise to you and other users would be: STAY AWAY FROM CARBON FIBER FRAMES..FAR, FAR AWAY. However aluminum frames are not better either but failure statistics are less. If carbon fiber frames were build with the same quality method as airplane parts, they would be the ultimate material for bikes. I build exclusively all my bikes of all sort, I collect them( a terrible habit) and that is my conclusion. My yeti and Lynskey frames are my decorative items ONLY. But as others have already stated, a much more progressive suspension you would need depending on your weight, however yeti frames, particularly xc frames are not designed for heavy impact and may develop cracks in pivot points. I wish happiness for everyone.
4:06 hey evan! you get much more consistent with the bends when you push the DAG rather than pull. I have never snapped one while pushing only pulling. have a good one!
You’re trying to make an XC / light trail bike ride like a full trail or light enduro. You’re just not going to have the suspension to handle multiple foot drops. My Giant Anthem is 120 up front and 100 in the back and it doesn’t like anything over a foot or so. I’ve done up to 3′ before, but it wasn’t happy and definitely bottoms out at anything over 18". You can add some tokens to make the rear more progressive and/or stick in a shock with both high and low speed compression settings, but in the end, it’s just not designed for that kind of riding.
Great video, I really enjoy sitting down and watching your videos!
in my opinion I prefer aloy frames just because carbon frames are more brital and the carbon can be broken without the paint evenn being damaged
That high bike is So Nice ๐ its not the type of bike that i would like to ride, but its sick anyways
Man i wish i had a bike cycle like this

Overpriced crap. Forestal just better.
I like your videos men, keep doing that
Money can buy the perfect bike… and it’s called the 2022/2023 Santa Cruz BronsonMX.
You’re Welcome ๐
the sb115 might be one of the worst modern frame designs ever. it feels HORRIBLE. my friend got one and I could NOT believe how sh*t it felt. I even did a full rebuild on the shock and it still felt horrible. it just feels like a slug and no matter how many tokens, rebound, hsc or lsc we did it still felt horrible. and the feeling was just not a bad shock it was just the geo design. would not recommend.
could u please send me the frame on the polygon
Binging your channel. Great content, love how you mix it up, and you’re relatable to a lot of riders. As much as I love watching Bernard Kerr and Matt Jones, they’re in another league than all of us, so it’s cool seeing someone closer to the average rider … And that’s no slight on your skill level. Seth is relatable too, and he’s a great rider.
Love that 80s montage music ๐ถ
What is the brake Caliper size?
This has become my fav channel thanks for making it great!!!!!!
You need 160mm travel.
I would have rather seen the stock polygon T7 parts on a 4k frame๐
Cool that everything worked. What is happening now with your polygon d7?
Just go buy a Blur XX1 AXS. ๐ Great video! Love the channel.
Did you snap the carbon frame lol
thats haws trails. lets ride!!
