Most of the weekend bikers do not use the "pampers" like clothes, they are overweight and do not normally use theyr bike on flat smooth roads because they are afraid of the traffic. I remember using my grandfather bike with a nice wide saddle which also had 2 big springs for support and I never ever had ass issues.  Right now I use a mountain bike with a type of saddle like the one you recommend and I had severe issues from it. Be careful what you recommend and be specific on which category of bikers it address. For the overweight weekend bikers that "suppository like" type of saddle is a real "pain in the ass".

I wish I had seen your video a year ago, I would have saved $200 in saddles. When I got my new bike, I took off the firm racing saddle , for a softer gel saddle. Never got comfy. I ended up putting the original saddle back on, a Selle San Marco Ponza, because I sold the gel saddle and I couldn’t find the other 2 saddles I had been trying That was 3 months ago. I have never been more comfy. I ride 3 to 4 centuries a year and I’ve done 2 on the Ponza.
All your videos are very informative.
