I’ve done both the front and rear adjustment as show in these videos but I’m still getting chain suck ok a brand new bike, I need some help…can I somehow increase tension on the chain to keep it from sticking?

  6. Shadow of a Daud on June 27, 2019 at 8:37 pm

Thank you, this video is brilliant! In just two hours today, I was able to get rid of chain rub that wasn’t sorted out by the dealer yesterday. Now I’m able to use all cogs. In the end, it wasn’t that hard as the most important thing is the right cable tension.

  22. Liang Peng on June 27, 2019 at 8:51 pm

I have done exactly what you explained in step 1. However, the lowest front chainring is still rubbing the inner cage. and I almost turned the L screw out and they’re still rubbing each other. What would be the reason? Isn’t the height of the cage well fixed?

  23. Eric on June 27, 2019 at 8:55 pm

Hi, I am having trouble with a front derailleur skipping as the pedal is pressed. It feels like inside may be stripped and needs changing. Any advice would be helpful.

  40. Elias Rosales on June 27, 2019 at 9:14 pm

  50. Compscilaw on June 27, 2019 at 9:26 pm

The ending of derailleur, at least to an English ear, just sounds like er. To a Francophone ear, it sounds like "ewer". Never "ier" like you’re saying it.
