    Good looking product.

Too bad it doesn’t make any difference in the bikes performance.

  3. Jason G25 on July 26, 2022 at 11:26 pm

This will be my next purchase!

  4. Yuuup on July 26, 2022 at 11:27 pm

Black only!?! But… my bike fashion!

  5. Ash Bridge Projects on July 26, 2022 at 11:28 pm

I nearly bought a set of Hope cranks as I like their products and like to buy British. Unfortunately, watching videos of the axles snapping really scared me away from them. The stress simulating machine doesn’t appear to be simulating correctly as this is a common occurrence.

    Nice factory, great job 👍👏

  7. Sophie louise on July 26, 2022 at 11:30 pm

British is best and that company is the best by far in my opinion

  8. Charles Man on July 26, 2022 at 11:30 pm

I get Hope is for mountainbikers but roadies need some love too.

  9. Leandro Cañellas on July 26, 2022 at 11:33 pm

the difference from china employers, they really enjoy their jobs, chinese people only wants to get money, I really dont understand how can you really get a job for 20 years without even like what your doing everyday. Nice video!

    nice!

  16. Johnny Bravoo on July 26, 2022 at 11:40 pm

They should change to stainless steel threads for the pedal. I have had two Shimano Saint pedal arms going crooked now, i.e the pedals are not horizontal anymore. I thought this would only happen to carbon cranks, not the "strongest crankset in the world". Saints were expensive but these are almost twice that. I am not spending that kind of money on such a weak material as aluminum. 5:06 Hopefully (pun intended) these are stronger.

    0;39 threaded cockring hehehe…

  19. christdragon on July 26, 2022 at 11:45 pm

I would like to be able to afford to buy a crankset like this some day. Although I wish we could get them in some colors other than black. Race Face makes some cranks in colors. But I fear they might come from China. It’s so good to see such beautiful quality that doesn’t come from China. Great video. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

  20. Robert Smith on July 26, 2022 at 11:45 pm

would love to get a set of raw metal cranks to go with my raw aluminum Capra.

  21. Joe McCohn on July 26, 2022 at 11:45 pm

Its so true that when you have occasion to meet real engeneering inventors instead markeing stock bullshit – they all are white.

  22. derek blake on July 26, 2022 at 11:46 pm

Proud to be British with a company like Hope there amazing.

  23. DWhyte on July 26, 2022 at 11:46 pm

  24. Fabian Sitter on July 26, 2022 at 11:48 pm

1 micron? I dont think so.

  25. Durahl on July 26, 2022 at 11:48 pm

Kinda wondering about that ridiculous bending of the crankset while the operator casually mentions it simulating a rider going to town with it – Like… Really? Can a rider ACTUALLY bend a crankset like THAT?!

  26. Felix Cat on July 26, 2022 at 11:49 pm

As with the video on the UK Racing Teams’s carbon fibre bike construction, this video depicts high quality, tight tolerance manufacturing.

  27. James Nizzy on July 26, 2022 at 11:50 pm

As someone who works around CNC machines an awful lot its great to appreciate how the hope parts that end up on my bike are made!

  32. mrexon on July 26, 2022 at 11:57 pm

I want chrisking to make a whole fkn crank! I think it would be better… because as for hubs, hope is for poor people

  33. Michael Zak on July 26, 2022 at 11:59 pm

i love hopes stuff, i just wish that when the products i buy arrive to me there weren’t so many chips in the paint, even my new fortus wheels just arrived with some kind of manufacturing double pinch chip marks on them.

I know its going to happen eventually, it just would of been nice for £400 that i actually scratched them and not the manufacturer.

  34. Night Raid on July 27, 2022 at 12:02 am

    Its to expensive

  35. PU5H on July 27, 2022 at 12:02 am

  37. derek blake on July 27, 2022 at 12:07 am

I had two different red cranks arms in my set, clearly anodised and different times contacted Hope with no response, very disappointed as I love Hope components.

  38. Stephen Brown on July 27, 2022 at 12:08 am

    Brilliant

  39. DarkSky Geek on July 27, 2022 at 12:10 am

Really enjoyable video. The attention to detail is truly impressive. You can see that everyone is really proud of what they do, even down to the little jobs. Great video and another reason to buy Hope (I already use hubs, BB, headset, pedals & seat clamp).

  40. tim march on July 27, 2022 at 12:12 am

Love these videos.. Great Job Hope.

  41. antar molygraphite on July 27, 2022 at 12:14 am

the problem is, that every 3 – 4 months, there is a new standard and NO comptability, so, why buy so expensive parts ?

  42. Jared Gulaga on July 27, 2022 at 12:15 am

    There just ugly af

  43. Jonathan Vogel on July 27, 2022 at 12:15 am

  48. Ryan Liversage on July 27, 2022 at 12:20 am

    Pure brilliance

  49. Dan Imbertson on July 27, 2022 at 12:20 am

What a great company. I believe that these bicycles may be one of the best well thought out, designed, manufactured and proven in the industry. The employees seem to be very into their work and work well as a team. Way to go Hope, keep up the great work. When I can afford a brand new bike, you’ll be one of my very few candidates for my business.
