that won’t work, you need to just ride
Wouldn’t a stationary trainer be better than holding on to that tree?
What Jersey is she wearing?
It’s okay to look down for a quick moment coming out of a light or something… but, yeah, you can’t look down for a solid 3 seconds or something… I would say that look Keo road pedals are easier or just as easy as the MTB pedals to clip into..
Super interesting!
I thought it was right of passage to fail to unclip at a set of traffic lights ….
whats the latest on the indi pac preps @durianrider
I take it payment was easily settled for this crash course @dr?
I fell a few times when I first had Clip in pedals. Tip; when ever you think you may need to clip out, clip out. I’ve done that so many times that helped prevent so nasty falls.
Needs to put that saddle down a centimeter
wait a sec isn’t she the one who crit races?
Way too much tension
sounds more like a creepy guy in his 40s grooming a gullible kid in her teens how to do basic cycling stuff while NOT trying to sound like a creepy uncle.
oi show us how to do a mono ay
ffs just ride about on a field for 30 mins, job jobbed.
Backpedaling and clipping in isn’t that realistic. I only clip in that way on red lights. Meaning I stop for a red light, hold on to some pole and clip back in backpedaling, both feet now clipped in. That’s a rare occasion. Normally when I have to clip in, I have to clip in the other foot while pedaling forward.
Clip ins can be tough to adjust to !
Saddle looks too high!
Reminds me of Obi-wan giving Luke the helmet with the blast shield down to train him to use the lightsaber. "A vegan cyclist can feel the clip-ins flowing through them".
Those clips sound too tight.
neuro muscular facilitation
Using clipless for MTB soon. Kind of nervous 😂
what do you mean that’s what the pros do i’m pretty sure all of them already know how to clip in and propably don’t even remember how they learnt. So how do you know?
I should’ve watched this earlier. I crashed on my garage on my daughter’s bike. Got a bruise on my hip.
Hey DR, why no review of Bianchi bikes like the All-Road 105? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Bianchi included in your reviews, although I haven’t seen them all (yet)… and are A530’s a good first pedal to go with? Thanks for all the great content, and stay CTFU!!! Grasshopper 😉
I love how your back garden looks like a festival ground haha
excellent trick!
Speedplay FTW!
oi m8 can u curl that weight bar in the back haha
is freelees bike for sale? maybe you want to part it out and sell me the wheelset? lol
Why not get her on a trainer, mate?
But when you’re clipping in, you’re going slowly as you’ve just pulled away.
do you teach ghosting a bike…. lol
For myself, I use the negative reinforcement method. I do not recommend this method to just anyone.
Jump on, clip in, pedal, stop peddling and forget to unclip …crash. Wham! Negative reinforcement and lesson learned. Repeat until you stop using clipless pedals.
She’s clicky.
She is pulling up the feet, it’s side ways. Really it’s more easy. But nice way off teaching. And in the begging you can loose a lit bit the screws
Great method!
cheeky thumbnail Dr….fucking love the cleavage..
