  2. Charles Man on January 14, 2023 at 2:28 am

Wouldn’t a stationary trainer be better than holding on to that tree?

    What Jersey is she wearing?

  4. BIGD_OSpinner on January 14, 2023 at 2:29 am

It’s okay to look down for a quick moment coming out of a light or something… but, yeah, you can’t look down for a solid 3 seconds or something… I would say that look Keo road pedals are easier or just as easy as the MTB pedals to clip into..

    Super interesting!

  6. David Peters on January 14, 2023 at 2:31 am

I thought it was right of passage to fail to unclip at a set of traffic lights ….

I fell a few times when I first had Clip in pedals. Tip; when ever you think you may need to clip out, clip out. I’ve done that so many times that helped prevent so nasty falls.

sounds more like a creepy guy in his 40s grooming a gullible kid in her teens how to do basic cycling stuff while NOT trying to sound like a creepy uncle.

  16. MrPunkassfuck on January 14, 2023 at 2:38 am

Backpedaling and clipping in isn’t that realistic. I only clip in that way on red lights. Meaning I stop for a red light, hold on to some pole and clip back in backpedaling, both feet now clipped in. That’s a rare occasion. Normally when I have to clip in, I have to clip in the other foot while pedaling forward.

Clip ins can be tough to adjust to !

  18. Harry Thompson on January 14, 2023 at 2:39 am

    Saddle looks too high!

  19. Ash Beech on January 14, 2023 at 2:39 am

Reminds me of Obi-wan giving Luke the helmet with the blast shield down to train him to use the lightsaber. "A vegan cyclist can feel the clip-ins flowing through them".

  20. Luis Medeiros on January 14, 2023 at 2:41 am

    Those clips sound too tight.

  23. fiv on January 14, 2023 at 2:45 am

what do you mean that’s what the pros do i’m pretty sure all of them already know how to clip in and propably don’t even remember how they learnt. So how do you know?

  24. kakrot3 on January 14, 2023 at 2:46 am

I should’ve watched this earlier. I crashed on my garage on my daughter’s bike. Got a bruise on my hip.

  25. GrasshopperJune27 on January 14, 2023 at 2:48 am

Hey DR, why no review of Bianchi bikes like the All-Road 105? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Bianchi included in your reviews, although I haven’t seen them all (yet)… and are A530’s a good first pedal to go with? Thanks for all the great content, and stay CTFU!!! Grasshopper 😉

  32. Pompey Cyclist on January 14, 2023 at 3:09 am

But when you’re clipping in, you’re going slowly as you’ve just pulled away.

  33. Wayne Proud on January 14, 2023 at 3:12 am

do you teach ghosting a bike…. lol

  34. Eric O on January 14, 2023 at 3:12 am

For myself, I use the negative reinforcement method. I do not recommend this method to just anyone.

Jump on, clip in, pedal, stop peddling and forget to unclip …crash. Wham! Negative reinforcement and lesson learned. Repeat until you stop using clipless pedals.

  35. Steel Teepost on January 14, 2023 at 3:15 am

    She’s clicky.

  36. Mario Silva on January 14, 2023 at 3:16 am

She is pulling up the feet, it’s side ways. Really it’s more easy. But nice way off teaching. And in the begging you can loose a lit bit the screws

  37. Shawn Remy on January 14, 2023 at 3:17 am
