Do I still need all these equipment if I’m planning to use my bike only on campus?

Thanks! I’m going to be buying a bike and almost forgot about buying a seat cover!

People should avoid cable locks altogether. Any thief can carry a collapse-able pair of bolt cutters and snip the cable. A good chain (Pewag #3012) and heavy padlock (abus granit, etc.) + U lock would require at least an angle grinder to cut through. Though I think the best security strategy is to lock up next to a bike that’s both nicer and improperly secured.

How would I store my bike in my dorm room/apartment? My roommates get kind of annoyed by it sometimes.

Do you bring your bike equipment bag with you to class? Or do you feel comfortable leaving your extra gear with your bike? And how do you attack your backpack to your bike/secure all of your gear? (maybe future video idea) 🙂

It is a useful guide, I prefer to leave some of my things at School since I will not probably need them at home.

It’s really great, I’m currently looking into commuting to university on a bike and you brought a lot of good points and ideas that I’ll look into. Thanks!
