  2. Terrell Johnson on October 7, 2020 at 3:44 am

    Feeling the FELT

  3. Aaron ___ on October 7, 2020 at 3:44 am

Shortage, no wonder used and new bike prices are crazy. Well, as long as your bike is listed less than $1k having a hard time selling my cervelo r3.

  4. greg taylor on October 7, 2020 at 3:45 am

What a thoroughly enjoyable video Eric …… Thank you!

  5. Ryan Pliley on October 7, 2020 at 3:45 am

Thanks, man! I love the build videos! Still working on acquiring all the parts for my Schwinn Super Sport gravel build… You convinced me to try SRAM Force/Rival!

  6. James Guptill on October 7, 2020 at 3:47 am

Absolutely love it!!! Now that’s a cool ride!!!

  7. jaimejames13 on October 7, 2020 at 3:49 am

For new and affordable bikes, yeah. But lots of bikes being sold on Ebay and Craigslist.

  8. Joe Turner on October 7, 2020 at 3:50 am

getting dangerously close to making me unsubscribe just so I can see a motorised flat bar carbon road bike explode

  9. The Tech From Heaven on October 7, 2020 at 3:51 am

Put an electric motor in that thing. Something something Bafang

  10. Siopao.Sauce on October 7, 2020 at 3:53 am

I’ve been watching the videos on the spesh 26er the past few weeks but this video got me to sub. Good stuff, dude.

  11. Stu Learmonth on October 7, 2020 at 3:56 am

A close is indeed like a court in Canada. Top job Eric πŸ‘

  12. BOB2pointzero on October 7, 2020 at 3:57 am

I had the same thought and hit a snag. I found a Walmart mtb frame with 24" wheels being given away, to build for my kid. got better 24" wheels, new 24" fork, made it 1×7, new bearings all around, even stripped and painted it. went to install the new v brakes and discovered it was actually a 26" frame and I can’t figure out how to get him rear brakes and the pedal strikes are pretty bad. fail… I’m gonna off load it online as 26" and start again… keeping some good parts and the new fork.

  13. chris m on October 7, 2020 at 3:57 am

Great quick build video. What brand / kind adapter for the crank spindle? Thanks

  14. John Hanley on October 7, 2020 at 3:59 am

It’s nice, but I think it would be better if it was a 2x…

  15. Mark Seals on October 7, 2020 at 3:59 am

I’m loving this video!! I just ordered a Poseidon X in the interstellar blue. It now comes with a Microshift Advent X 10 speed and a 1x 38T chainring up front. I was torn about not having a 2x because I wanted a bigger ring for speed. This video has me thinking just bump it up to a larger chainring and keep the 1x.

  16. Grant Ferstat on October 7, 2020 at 4:00 am

That bike would actually suit my commute perfectly!

  17. Kristian Dawe on October 7, 2020 at 4:01 am

I would honestly love that bike, its simple, easy to maintain, and I’m sure its fast on the road. Its beautiful. One question is that frame carbon.

  18. Mellissa Nash on October 7, 2020 at 4:02 am

50t seems a bit larger, but with 30-32mm tires(if it can fit it) it could be fun.

  19. Gordon Stevens on October 7, 2020 at 4:02 am

that thing would be so sick with some downhill bars on it. Would absolutely rip through down town

  20. Mcarter348 on October 7, 2020 at 4:03 am

I like the idea of this video, very creative Eric Spinney. #stillkillingit

  21. Spencer G on October 7, 2020 at 4:03 am

Flatbar urban ripper? You mean Dad bike; such a cool bike!

  22. Bryn Drummond on October 7, 2020 at 4:04 am

    Very cool.

  23. SpeedyV on October 7, 2020 at 4:06 am

Hey spindatt. I have a sram x9 rear derailleur with a 1x on the front. I have chain drops on downshifts to harder gears. I have a 50 tooth front chainring(not narrow wide just regular) on the innermost spot so I can have a smother chain line on the easier gears. Do you think I should move the chainring to its regular position or should I just adjust the clutch on the derailleur?

  24. Nova-jo bike's Aka jovan on October 7, 2020 at 4:06 am

I limit myself 3 built bikes n like 5 frames lol

  25. Kelly Mckenzie on October 7, 2020 at 4:11 am

To me, flat bar road bikes are just track bikes with gears. I’ve done it with every single geared bike that I’ve owned and I love it. I think I’ll go do it right now.

  26. Paul Kruglov on October 7, 2020 at 4:12 am

The Felt turned out pretty good with flat bars! The current "global bike shortage" is comical. All those people who never rode a bike in their life are flocking toward cycling to preoccupy their time, however once the pandemic subsides, the majority of those bikes will either be up for sale or collect dust in the basement.

  27. Jarrod Speed on October 7, 2020 at 4:14 am

300 dollar saddle got that one myself on sale

  28. Puro on October 7, 2020 at 4:14 am

0430?! im usually 0500 for work, not for fun thou. waiting for a dolan fxe since 15/5. just got new today that sugino 75s wont be in before end july. they will swap the cranks for some used sg75’s they had inhouse but still, yea theres a shortage.

  30. ekedini on October 7, 2020 at 4:16 am

    Another fantastic video

  31. John Baca on October 7, 2020 at 4:16 am

That looks like one of my builds with a longer lower stem! Are those the biggest tires that will fit?

  32. ArthurFellig on October 7, 2020 at 4:17 am

I’ve been watching your channel for quite a while and loving it. You totally inspired me to put together a single speed mountain bike, which I took out for it’s first ride yesterday. Love it! Thanks for keeping the DIY, no frills, more fun, side of biking going strong!

  33. Josh Weirs on October 7, 2020 at 4:17 am

STRAP A MOTOR TO THIS BIKE EVEN THOUGH I’M ALREADY SUBSCRIBED!

  34. rw b on October 7, 2020 at 4:18 am

"build something of of anything!" YES.

  35. rocky lofeudo on October 7, 2020 at 4:18 am

Keep up the awesome videos πŸ‘

  36. iRacecraft on October 7, 2020 at 4:18 am

The unprecedented overuse of the word "unprecedented" is unprecedented.

  37. novadhd on October 7, 2020 at 4:21 am

Wish I had your skills. Or the nice components

  38. Kirk Hodgson on October 7, 2020 at 4:21 am

Is it just me or is the saddle the most expensive part of this build?
Also one of the most comfortable saddles I’ve ridden even if I couldn’t afford the carbon rails.

  39. NtSaber on October 7, 2020 at 4:22 am

I’ve built my self a urban 1×9 with my old shimano Deore, the result is quite similar to yours (NW crank aswell)! AND it’s also my smoothest shifting bike!!

  40. Des Kelly on October 7, 2020 at 4:23 am

Kind of bike vid I love

  41. Edvarnez 9 on October 7, 2020 at 4:24 am

I built a bike for a friend 2 days ago.

  45. The Junior Critic on October 7, 2020 at 4:30 am

Wish I had a nice parts bin

  46. Coen Ng on October 7, 2020 at 4:31 am

Dustin, I have to confess that I’m part of the Global Bike shortage. Also I would like to thank you because now I know that it is normal to have an urge to build mountainbikes, frankenstein gravel city rippers and retro atb gravel bike conversions during these times.

  47. Daniel Martinez on October 7, 2020 at 4:32 am

quick question: did you give up on the cadence brand and start working in a bike shop?

  48. Anon123 on October 7, 2020 at 4:36 am

Nice bike! One of my favs. πŸ™‚

  49. Tim Brentjens on October 7, 2020 at 4:38 am

Thats looking like a surprisingly sweet ride! πŸ˜€

  50. mike kunnecke on October 7, 2020 at 4:39 am

That’s got to be the only dad bike in Canada w/ a carbon railed saddle.
