Thanks to everyone for their kind words after the weekend, it really was quite overwhelming. So whilst the on road stuff was a bit of a disaster, I’m hoping what did come across is the fact we are going to share the good stuff and the bad all season long, and that goes for the Nero Racing kit’s I am working on as well.

Today was a big day for the kits as the Road Jersey sample arrived. I’m really keen to show you this process and how we are putting the pieces of kit together, today then, is kinda important.

Pattern on the jersey looks awesome!

Yep ditch that particular collar………it’s impractical, if you want to unzip, the last thing you want to be doing is fiddling around trying to get access to the zipper. You just want to grab it and down she comes!!
Mind you, it could possibly save you 0.125 watts per hour by having the zipper tucked away like that 😉

More Toby from hunter works 😊

Hi Chris . Kit is looking sweet. Ditch the lapels. Too easy to get stuck in the zipper. Who wants that when you want to open the jersey and it’s stuck. Have you thought about getting rid or making the collar very small. Look at at the pro jerseys they don’t have them at all now. Keep you cooler. Yes I understand a bit of sun protection. But when your hot all you want is to cool down. Just throwing it too you. Blogs are great.

Kit looks great, Chris, really slick. Agree with dropping the lapel ("zip garage"?) for warm weather gear, much better just with a decent dongle for easy grabbing. How about a zippered extra pocket on the back for keys, money, etc. Too late at this stage?

Loving the sleeves and the pattern

Like the band at the back. The pockets also look tight which is nice because "pocket sag" is really annoying. Agree with the lapels.

Only change/addition would be a small pocket for a key or garage remote. I have a Rapha jacket that has it and is spot on. Saves pre-ride and post-ride fumbling.

Glad you gave the race a go even though you were obviously crook. Guts! That’s what success takes. Feel better and have another crack. Jersey is a nice looking article! Enjoying your ride (pun intended).
