    I’m already slow. I carry a camelbak full of enough to get me back to the truck on any given ride.
    I’ll also carry the young kiddos water and stuff.
    Commuting I use a rear rack

    Global Mountain Bike Network : I just feel like it’s going to affect the bike.. (not that it does I never find out) I don’t even run a bottle as I don’t like the “mess” so I always end up with a racksac or bum bag
    I’ve promised Jnr a multi day trip so now I’m going to have to do something (make him carry my stuff perhaps)

    How did Blake feel with the extra stuff?
    How does it affect rebound etc? It seems with the weight on the bike not mobile it would tend to pack down without speeding up slightly ?

    Camelbak backpack. I know when I grab that thing, I have everything I need for a ride. Water, multi tool, tire levers, tube, pump, saw, phone, keys, bear spray and snacks… Honestly taping all that stuff to your ultra light carbon frame seems bit funny to me, but whatever floats your boat I guess.

    Great vid.. Being disabled (1-arm) I’m mostly on the roads, my options are huge.. I use panniers and a backpack and wow can I load those bags up, plus a rear carrier to strap stuff to.. The two best presenters right there, thanks guys.. Blake your hilarious, make me laugh out loud.

    2:12 "Fanny pack"? Didn’t your mother teach you to watch your mouth? I thought "fanny" is not a polite term in the UK. Call it a waist pack or a bum bag if you want. Or better yet, a lumbar pack. Mountainsmith makes great lumbar packs.

    You get it for free too like the bikes.. bet they selling more now in that colour than ever before you were given one.. the only thing ii was given free were class A habit induceing drugs…..:/ Yep I’m still squeaky clean thanks to GMBN presenters.. fixing up an upgrading a 2016 cube analog.. hope it’ll take the punishment I intend to send it through..     I always have my spare tube and tire levers strapped under my saddle, pump on the down tube, energy bar taped on the top tube, and multitool on my pocket

    I try to carry as much as I need but as small and lite as possible. I even tear apart multi tool to save room.
