Côte d'Azur – Coast and Hill Ride (France) – Indoor Cycling Training

Do you dream of a sunny ride along the French Riviera? If yes, then this ride is for you. It combines the beautiful coastline of Côte d’Azur with a ride into the idyllic back hills. You start the ride in the charming resort town of Saint-Raphaël. On this ride, you will pass many beaches and other resort towns. There are plenty of things to look at on this ride. And there are plenty of opportunities to see the ocean. The coastline on this ride is unique. It consists of beautiful red rocks and azure blue water. Most climbs along the coast are short, but one climb takes you up high so you really can enjoy the view of the Mediterranean and the big yachts it is known for. As you leave the coast, you ride inland and up the back hills. The hills are a nice break from the busy coastline. The ride ends at the small hamlet of Auberge des Adrets.

Take your indoor cycling to the next level with our indoor cycling app Open Road:

The app lets you ride the ride for real and provides a better and more realistic indoor cycling experience compared to our ride-along videos on YouTube. The app is compatible with all ANT+ cycling devices, including smart trainers, power meters, and speed sensors. Athletes with spinning and exercise bikes without ANT+ compatibility can control the speed manually and enjoy riding with all the important cycling data displayed during the training session.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride…

Potentially a great ride. Personally I prefer rides where the cyclist’s eyes are always on the road but I appreciate that some people like the side views. By the way, I usually think all of your rides are awesome!

Fantastic. Personally l tend to look to the sides when l am riding to enjoy the scenery. Guess it depends on where you ride. I’m very fortunate to be in Yorkshire 🙂❤️🚵

Wonderful, and made even more wonderful by the not-at-all-annoying side glances to the sea.
