Good video thanks, but the pin should be inserted from the top. If you insert it from the bottom and something unclips the clip, the pin will drop out and you could lose the trailer. Inserting it from the bottom just so you can see the clip is in place is dangerous.

what does trailer look like when attached. ? Does it stand out on the left ? Won’t vehicles hit it ?

Why is the trailer pin inserted that way? That is counter to gravity.

Great video. I needed to see how it was done to make sure that I was attaching a borrowed trailer correctly. Thank you very much.

When inserting the cotter pin for the trailer it should be inserted from the top and insure the spring lock is over the pin on the bottom. This way if the spring lock become undone it should not fall out.

Hi.. The coupler attached to the bike moves downward.. Any tips how to ensure its fixed in place? Before not an issue since I’m using MTB but after switching to folding bike, the clearance to ground becomes smaller..

Did anyone tell me where I could buy the quick release pin. I lost the one that came with my trailer and now I don’t have anyway to connect it safely. Please give me the email and or phone number or store where I can buy it. Thank you

Is there a swivel in trailer tongue to adjust for bike leaning ?

Thanks man. Easy to understand and to the point. Successful attachment for me too.

Why on earth would you instruct to insert the pin from the bottom!?!!????????

If the clip is going to come undone the bolt would fall out, it makes far more sense to insert the pin from the top side.

    Ludicrous

    Thank you! That was perfect.

Wrong, the pin is safe when inserted from the top and locked to stop it bouncing out, not locked by the top. Unreal that you show the unsafe way.

  21. Steven Williamson on August 1, 2022 at 1:29 am

Locking handle is supposed to be in line with the frame, rather than sticking up.

Why no safety strap on the heavy duty Wike trailer?

  24. lïßêrå†ïðñ on August 1, 2022 at 1:36 am

Is that even strong enough to hold a heavy trailer,..
