How is it possible that an upstart bike park in the middle of Mexico has built some of THE BEST turns and features I’ve ever ridden? The more I travel the less I get surprised that almost anyone can create AMAZING trails if they get a few critical things right.
San Lucas Bike Park is a project of Procuenca to generate mountain bike tourism for this part of the world. Our guide Sandro is the driving force behind the park and he has done an amazing job getting these trails funded and built. He hopes to build 50 more miles of trail over the next few years, and if it happens this place is going to be a world class destination.

– Big thanks to Sandro from Procuenca (https://procuenca.org/en/home-2/) for inviting us and putting together an awesome itinerary of rides in the Valle de Bravo area! Follow him: @sandro_cusi
– Big thanks to Chino from @ChinosBikesValle for transportation!
– Big thanks to Hotel Rodavento (https://www.hotelrodavento.com/en) for providing free lodging during the trip. Really cool place!
Good place to get ideas for planning Everstoke
The guide has such a nice and clen accent
Love the flow stunning riding
I think Sarah should wear a camera too because that tumble would have been a great tik tok. lol ๐ ๐
Went riding there a month ago and can confirm the trails are great. Sandro and his son are awesome guides! Hope the whole bike park gets the recognition it deserves!
How much would you charge to send this one ๐ฆ to Mexico?
I love how casually you drop in the "… at 9800 feet" at the beginning of the video
Ojalรก sigas disfrutando de este hermoso y grandioso paรญs. Coman mรกs comida mexicana…
Placing Mexico in the MTB map. It is not required to have some brains to understand the infinite potential to develop that area into a world hub. Year round nice weather. No snow at all! Brian, that’s the place you should’ve invested: " The Everstoke Sombrero".
Glad you were okay after that fall. Thanks for including it in the video. Thanks for keeping it REAL.
Awesome place
Down from North America?
Awesome track n great rider
Another amazing location & ride video, thanks Brian.
Happy new year from Ukraine! wish everyone more great trails in 2023!

Thanks Brian + Sarah !! Simply Brilliant ..๐
That dirt looks gorgeous
This is honestly unreal, would have never thought such good quality of trails in Mexico, and riding during our winter to boot. I’ll probably never get down there but atleast we can all experience the adventure with you in 4K…pretty frick’n awesome. Thanks for the share.
wow, what an amazing trail system. I hope they are very successful. Lots of communities are realizing they can bring in the $$$ with mountain biking. Build it and they will come ๐
Such a nice day at San Lucas Bike Park. Thanks Brian for spreading the word about the great riding in Mรฉxico ๐ฒ๐ฝ!
No manches! This is awesome! After living for 2 years in Mexico I didnโt know that there were trails like this out there. Iโll have to go give it a visit, thanks for showcasing this
Great Video. You have been riding really hard lately with the Colorado redemption and jumping right into more awesome videos. I feel your pain when you crash and just want to give some advice: Take some time off to rest the mind and the body! We love your videos but love you even more healthy and not hurt. Cheers!
Mexican people in Mexico are very hospitable and want to give visitors the proper tour and information to make them feel welcomed. That being said, I kinda got the sense that Brian wanted to just get to the ride ๐.
Great video like always! Nothing better than getting out and exploring God’s creation. Brian , what camera and setting ms would you be using? Keep it up!
Dude…I felt that crash. Those slide out crashes are no bueno. Super jealous of the awesome Mexican terrain as the snow tries to melt here at home. Great stuff guys!
Trails look awesome and that area and commitment to the community is amazing.
What a cool place to ride! Beautiful. Thanks for sharing this, Brian!
Parque San Lucas seems awesome! Was that one single linear ride, or several put together?
Awesome vibes! Great work Sarah and Brian!
Sandro is a super cool dude, doing great work for his community and us riders. Keep the videos coming: I would subscribe twice if there was such a thing!
Wanted to ride it after watching the Awesomesโฆbut now with your video and the better weatherโฆI really want to ride it. We were in Mexico City this year, but it was June and kinda rainy!
This place looks pretty amazing. Great variety of obstacles and terrain. Plus the tour guides to tow you into each trail. And the ‘flow’ trails look like a dream. Might have to research how much a holiday to here would cost ๐ค๐
I had to watch this one a few times! It’s now on my bucket list.
Amazing trails, What a great guide. Time to buy some new shoes
Do the jumps, Brian, do the jumps!

San Lucas is now on my bucket list for mountain biking! ๐๐ฒ
Towards the end it made me think how cool a mountain bike trail in a jungle setting would be.
Ugh these videos make me want summer to come back to Duluth ๐ฉ
Glad you enjoyed Mexico. Good flow and back story! Did you turn to tight on the berm? Is it better to lean the bike and ride higher on the berm?
Dang, that’s some good stuff…what a blast!
