I’ve owned the cygolite metro 550 for about 4 years now and I’ve been totally happy with it, its bright and the day flash mode is awesome and I’ve used it in the pouring rain with no problems at all. I also have a planet bike blaze 180 that has a more concentrated spotlight effect compared to the flood effect of the metro and if I run them together I aim the 180 closer to bike and the 550 a bit higher and have seriously great light for even complete darkness and believe it or not the box it came with never enters my mind…..

Who the hell cares about weight?! Or packaging?

  3. David Tinnerello on June 27, 2019 at 8:24 pm

Its nice to see someone can integrate music into their videp without it being obnoxioisly loud vs. The voice. We give it 5 stars for quality and design. Great job!!!

I think this is the best bike front light so far in the market: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KZK3FGJ?ref=myi_title_dp

So many bad comments for your review, get a life you pontificating turds. I found the review very helpful. I have now purchased CT shark 500 based on it. I look forward to using it.
    Thanks…..

Do a separate video on cardboard boxes!

  11. Freija Van Hove on June 27, 2019 at 8:31 pm

What’s the music that gets played when you show the tests with the reflective cone?

  12. Tom k.williams on June 27, 2019 at 8:31 pm

I just paid £9.99 for a rechargeable light and it bright as fuck …..but the packaging was terrible 😁

  13. janet sers on June 27, 2019 at 8:34 pm

    Chris fix?

  14. rugbynimbus on June 27, 2019 at 8:35 pm

Whether you’re aware of it consciously or not, packaging has an enormous impact on the expectation of the product that’s in it. That’s why computers don’t show up in plain brown corrugated cardboard anymore. Apple started spending tens of millions on developing and producing high-end packaging and a lot of industries followed suit. Does it affect performance? Of course not, but the higher quality brands tend to spend more money on the containers their products show up in. "Cheap packaging, cheap product." Might not be true, but it is the reality we perceive.

I suddenly felt like i was in a rock concert

  16. Paul on June 27, 2019 at 8:38 pm

This review does not say how long will lights will stay on. It also does not say:
How many milliamps the batteries are?
How many lumens of brightness the lights are?
How many hours the lights stay on.
This is not a good review.

  17. Markus Patients on June 27, 2019 at 8:39 pm

They all look easy to steal if left on bike unattended. I prefer a screw down special driver light.

  18. Frank Jee on June 27, 2019 at 8:41 pm

Disagree! I think this is the best and coolest bike light ever. Check out the link below on Amazon:

    The packaging?

  21. Justin Strong on June 27, 2019 at 8:47 pm

Yea this was a great comparison, except the people who payed you to make this video are sitting pretty on 34 stars while the one guy there that can charge your phone and LIGHT UP THE WORLD LIKE A FUCKING NIGHT SUN came second to last because it didn’t come with a smaller shittier light to stick up your ass and the packaging around the nice included bag was not up to your cardboard box homeless person standard. If I put money on what the best light is here based on your review it would need to be the 1000 Lumens.

  22. Justin Gere on June 27, 2019 at 8:47 pm

You don’t need a light for day riding, stop.

  23. Dr.Kutulu on June 27, 2019 at 8:52 pm

Dude, you really gotta chill with the music on these vids, its pretentious as fuck and more importantly, off base and distracting. You are just ruining a decent video with shitty audio choices.

  24. Andrew Hildner on June 27, 2019 at 8:53 pm

You didn’t mention water resistance, do any claim that? A test would be better.

  25. Mani Wasaki on June 27, 2019 at 8:53 pm

just get a T6 CREE torch for $5 on aliexpress and stick it on. have been using it for 3 years now. Still working great

  26. evilcanofdrpepper on June 27, 2019 at 8:55 pm

For a REAL high quality light for under $50 check out Nite Rider, both the swift and micro 550 are great and come with tail lights. They tell you before the battery dies and automaticaly goes in low power mode to last longer and has smart charging tech in them so you can plug them in and leave them charging for weeks without messing up the battery. As soon as it is charged it stops charging.
On this list the metro 550 is the best, works decent and has 360 degree spin for mounting anywhere on a bike, the only downside is that fucking plug, if they had spent the extra $1.50 for the micro USB instead of that plug they would have a great cheap light.

  27. Benji Renals on June 27, 2019 at 8:56 pm

My favourite part was when the only light to come in it’s own cloth bag got 4 stars for packaging.

  28. Jake Nelson on June 27, 2019 at 8:57 pm

Did you review Armytek? I mean their bike light Prime?

  29. Wally A on June 27, 2019 at 8:58 pm

How about a lumens rating on each light?

  45. Truth Seeker on June 27, 2019 at 9:18 pm

Thumbs down who cares about unboxing that is irrelevant

  46. John on June 27, 2019 at 9:19 pm

for fuck sakes do a PROPER review, go to a DARK SPOT and put them lights on, AIMED FOWARD, not at the ground 3 meters in front of you!
will this light make you see that branch on the ground when your riding 20mph+ in the dark, OR WILL IT NOT

  47. Daniel Archundia Nieto on June 27, 2019 at 9:19 pm

asi se deberían de hacer las reviews de todos los productos!

  48. remote control on June 27, 2019 at 9:21 pm

    Dipshit judges the box

  49. Jordan Mcallister on June 27, 2019 at 9:22 pm

All of these are sub par and too small, you want 2000 lumen minimum and a wide angle beam….. unless ur cycling on pinstripe lines in a straight line :p
