30 Mile XC Adventure- PART 1 (Nevada City, CA) Mountain Biking
Another section of the South Yuba Trail that I just had to check out. This long mountain bike ride was a great cross country day filled with amazing scenery. I wish I new what the actual elevation climb was for the day. Strava has me in the 2000ft range but Trailforks says about 6000ft. I am having difficulty believing either one right now.

A BIT ABOUT ME: I consider myself to be an average rider. Not good with jumps, corners, and not very fast. As I continue to try and improve I find myself becoming more and more passionate about riding and wish I could do this every day. I watched many others start a MTB YouTube channel and thought it would be fun to start my own. All of them are really good riders and do an amazing job giving out information about trails, gear, and tips. I would like to think I could help review trails that aren’t as well known to encourage more bike traffic. Their channels really motivated me to move forward and put my own little twist on trail rides and mountain biking. I will do my best to inspire people to get out and ride and find people to share my adventures with.
Always on a quest to find great mountain bike trails, awesome mountain bike friends, helpful mountain biking tips, and amazing MTBing Adventures.
Superb, nice location, nice smooth video
Nice video some sections are sketchy and breakfast Burrito for the win..
That looks like an awesome ride. Great video I can’t wait to see the other parts! BTW great job for splitting it into small parts makes it way more manageable to watch and more interesting 🙂 Thanks, keep it up
Looks like an awesome trail adventure!
Your body knows..I’m sure it’s a much more climb than most Apps calculate..My Tracks does not do me justice..
But ,when in doubt..Keep Pedaling!..My Motto.
Hey, I wear tap-dance shoes to ride as well!!! (0:20 mark) LOL (road shoes w spd bolt pattern.
Shit, after this ride you could do Lake Sonoma like a walk in the park! XD
Regarding elevation gain: having done this ride many times, it’s about 3,500 ft in both directions so 7,000 total for out-and-back. Looks like Strava owes you some elevation!
Great vid Aaron! Always amazed by the work ethic you put in the vids, I know it ain’t easy. And here’s to you surpassing the 1k subs in the near future. You deserve it! Thanks man!
Dang dawg that looks so pretty. This is an XC ride I can get behind.
That was some save!
Great video looks like a epic ride
Definitely an adventure. I don’t like exposure. I’m gonna pass on Yuba!
Burrito! Lol wow ! nice but very sketchy trail at times.
Super nice area, but scaaary…wheww. Thanks for consistently bringing videos. One of the few bringing riding content lately. 👍✋
#SWATburrito
That’s one way to do it…or you can do a 40 mile loop from Nevada City that includes all the good stuff: http://vuduvgncycling.blogspot.com/2009/03/basic-iv-6-hours-singlespeed.html
Amazing trail with incredible views, what more could you ask for lol …thanks man, definitely appreciate your content!
Cool trail Aaron…and getting so close to 1000 subs!
I so want to do that..hikabike and Yagottawanna are my motto..
Nice vid! Will be tuning in for more
… it’s an mtb’ing adventure
Great video, that river view was spectacular, wow!!! Great job!
Btw, do you ride clipless or flat pedals?
This reminds me of Hell Ride here in SoCal. Check it out! https://youtu.be/Jp801iDpxXY
Stopping by to help out with a Sub! Keep it up dude! Really diggin what I’m seeing
Its a pity about the trees being down and the bushes sticking out I feel they ruin a trail but what do you expect when so few people actually look after the trails
