$30 Kent Bayside from Walmart | Bike Clearance Specials

Walmart is stocking their bike racks with the new 2019 bicycle lineup. That means there are clearance bikes like the Kent Bayside that can be had for some insanely cheap prices – a Bayside cruiser was $30 at my local Walmart store.

My local Walmart had 2 Kent Bayside 7-speed cruisers bikes for only $30 each. There was also a Genesis Saber Road bike, normally $198, on clearance for $45. A Kent RoadTech bike like I purchased last year for $129 was marked down to $30. Other markdowns and clearance bikes were on the racks, but the best deals I saw were the bayside, road tech, and genesis. YMMV

Also on the clearance isle I found some Goodyear bicycle inner tubes on sale for as little as $1.50. They had 27.5″, 29″, and 700c tubes.

    I bought a Bayside shortly after watching this video. It was definitely in better shape than other big box bikes I’ve fixed up for friends in the past. The front wheel just needed to be trued, and the a washer moved to the right place on one of the brake calipers.

    Thanks for this heads up. I’ve been restoring a 1963 Huffy 3 speed for my niece, but tonight at Wal-Mart I got her a brand new Schwinn Pathway….for $40! Yeah, now I am "the cool uncle"!

    Kev I was just at my wal mart. They had a MT bike on sale for $178. Threadless headset, disk brakes front and rear, 27.5 tires and trigger shifters. I think it was called Genesis terrain ata. Have you see this bike before? Thoughts??

    The Hydro is back in stock on Walmarts website and its still a steal at 199. There is no frame quite like it in all of mtb at that price. Walmart is giving customers deals that can be described as unbeatable anywhere.

    Thanks for the heads up! I’m recovering from knee surgery, but I’m going to see about picking up a cheap train station bike for the upcoming warmer weather. I’ll be needing a beater bike for strengthening my knee.

    Was at walmart today and remembered this video…So off I went to the clearance aisle and what did I find… 27.5" tubes for $1.50 😀 got 2 regular and than 3 heavy duty…can’t beat that. Would of been $30 on normal price I paid around $8

    I showed your 30$ cruiser to my dad he likes to drive bike but he is in bad shape hes almost dying when he gets to 3 level in apartmetbuildings and he likes to drive bikes but its not easy to get him on that bike and that bike is cheap easy to fix and has cheap components but we dont have Wal-Mart and shipping to my country is hard it takes 1 months with fast shipping inside same country like if my grandad send me somethin from 400km it shud be here in 2-4 days do it takes hole month

    My local Walmart wasn’t nearly as aggressive with their clearance, as the shelves were already half empty at the start of the year. The best deal I’ve seen were previous year Schwinn DSB bikes down from $250 to $59. I bought the store’s entire stock and sold them lol. This time around, every “mountain” bike was 50% off, but they only had 6ish in stock when the clearance started. Some bikes were so cheap, it was almost worth taking the parts off and junking the rest. Kicking myself for not picking up all of the Aluminum Comps that we’re priced at $90. I would have just parted it out and given the frame and wheelset to someone who wants to build a sleeper.

    You shud buy lots of your tuning parts from wish and AliExpress and schearc cheapest parts to upgrade your bike like drivetain it wud be good for kids that dont have lots of money

    these sales are probably very local……..checked 3 Wally Marts yesterday. Not one bike nor any accessories are on sale. So happy hunting for those who find one.

    Thanks Thio, I checked Walmart Vilano bikes and they might work well for me. I will definitely go for the disc brakes model, but I probably need to up a few other things like the new crank, new 12×34 -8 speed freewheel, derailleurs, etc.

    Thanks for the tip, I didn’t do quite as well as you, but I did get a Nel Losso on clearance, for what I consider a very fair price. I love buying bikes at this time of year, I always get a deal and the bike shop is quiet, so my bikes get a lot of attention. I always take any new bike to my local shop for a full check up to make sure nothing is going to fall off and kill me.

I’m very much a novice biker, but I just picked up a GMC Denali at my local Walmart for $45 and your videos help me feel pretty confident that I can upgrade the right parts to make this an awesome bike. Planning on hydraulic disc brakes, 1x crank, and maybe a Tourney derailleur.

    Do you have a video on the best budget upgrades and parts?
