    I own a Haibike E Bike. Purchasing it was the best decision ever. It’s fun. It’s practical. I just took a trip through the Alps. No sweat. Just fun& range.

    I know that this is an older video, but it is very interesting on the direction of e-bikes. Just one thing…you should be aware that some of the e-bikes shown are strictly for off-road use and should make note of that. Thanks.

    6 to 7 thousand dollars is NOT a fairly standard price for a good quality MT e bike . Thats waay to high .
    I live in germany , argueably the E bike capital of the world , with many top e bike makers like Cube, Bulls, Haibike, etc.
    Cube makes a full suspension mt. bike with a bosch cx motor and a 500 watt battery for around $3000.

    I guess if you’re going to spend that much on a non electric bike then you might as well get one with an electric motor on it. But if you’re just going to use it for errands than just buy a scooter or a moped they’re much cheaper.

    I built my own for Β£400 and it goes 48 mph running 22ah 48 v , with High farad caps , $ 9000 Bucks for one ! Nice but No .

    Stromer ST3 cost just over $8000, but to be fair you get a lot of bang for your buck, not even front suspension forget the rear one.

    The range stated for the Delfast bike as with other E bikes is nonsense. There are too many factors that determine range and all of the factors such as speed , wind, weight of the rider, air pressure , flat terrain or hills , would have to be perfect in order to match the manufactures inflated claims .

    I’m not fooled with the SPEEDS, when I see these e-bike ads. What I want to see is mention of the bike’s TORQUE, (that’s the power you get from a stop. A stone-cold STOP).
    I know it’s NOT possible because of the fact that battery technology still SUCKS!
    So, I still wait. Wake me up when the battery technology gets there.

    An e-bike that looks like a bike, but has good range and speed, and does not coast a small fortune. would be the best option, at least for me.

    anything that even looks like a motorcycle wont be allowed near are broadwalk in Florida. so most the offerings in this video are out. there were a few that looked great, but way way too expensive.
